Henry is wonderful always, he brings the atmosphere to David’s. Un like the other bartenders. He is Humble , attentive. Make wonderful drinks. He is truly a Star of David’s.. The other bartenders make wonderful drinks, but they have no personalities to go with it. I can’t say anything negative. But to be a bartender, you need to have the personality to go with it.

HORRIBLE & MISLEADING SERVICE at this hotel! I booked the Omni Orlando at Championsgate thru Amex, specifically because it advertised a 12pm early check-in for Amex Platinum cardholders. When I booked, I also provided them my estimated time of arrival (which is clearly pointless). I flew into Orlando on a red eye directly from a wedding in another state, just so that I could catch the last day of my family’s reunion in Orlando. Unfortunately this early check-in “benefit” that they advertise isn’t really a benefit at all, but rather a gamble, a bait & switch tactic and a complete waste of time. I had received several emails from this property leading up to my stay and even received a text the morning of my stay, welcoming to the property. After getting off my flight, renting a car and driving almost 1-hour to the resort... I was informed that they did not have any availability for noon and they didn't know when they would have a room available. Okay fine, things happen. Again, their management had just sent me a welcome text that morning (and they had my estimated arrival time on file), so it just would have been nice if they mentioned that they would not have any rooms available for the noon check-in. At any rate, I patiently sat in the lobby waiting for notice. No hospitality suite, no clear indication of when a room would be available... and I even had to ask them for my resort wristband while I was waiting, since "Emma" did not offer one to me when I checked in. After about an hour, I went back to the front desk to make sure things were moving along. After two hours, it was clear that no real intention was being made to honor the early check-in as advertised for Amex cardholders. By the time I was approaching three hours of just sitting & waiting in the lobby, I was livid!!! I finally asked to speak to the manager on-site to either give me an idea of when a room would be available or refund my prepaid money. The manager "Maxwell" advised me that while the early check-in is a benefit that they do advertise to Amex cardholders, it is not guaranteed. Well first of all, don't patronize me! I am well aware that it's not guaranteed, but that does NOT mean the hotel gets to make illusory promises and disregard a guest & their time! This is a heavily advertised benefit they promote through Amex and most hotels have a general idea the night before of what their next day's capacity will be. At the very minimum, Omni Orlando knew the morning of that they would not have rooms available at noon. So why did it take me showing up to find out they had no availability and then having to sit in the lobby for almost THREE HOURS?! Why didn't management go out their way to include that information when they texted me earlier that morning, especially since they had my estimated arrival time on file?! Miraculously however, the minute I started causing a scene and demanded a refund, "Maxwell" was somehow able to find a room for me. I literally missed half my family’s reunion because of this deceptive, poorly managed practice. And by the time I finally made it to my room, I was in tears and disoriented by the whole ordeal. My reservation was completely mismanaged time and the time that I wasted sitting in the lobby of this resort was completely avoidable. Had I known in advance that they wouldn't be able to honor a service that they advertise... I could have avoided the 1-hour drive there, the almost 3-hours I spent waiting in the lobby and simply re-booked at another hotel. I guess it was more important that they keep the money I prepaid, instead of providing me with the courtesy of being able to make other arrangements. My time is very important to me and it should be important to any property that I'm giving my money. And that is why this was my first and last time staying at ANY Omni property! I highly recommend that other Amex cardholders avoid this property as well, as Omni Orlando at Championsgate is not at all concerned about their guests and the stress & inconvenience of this bait & switch tactic is not worth the risk of ruining your travel plans.
