Domes Noruz Chania

Our recent stay at Domes Noruz Chania was absolutely wonderful. Before arriving, we watched multiple videos and reviews online, but none of them did the hotel justice. The views are simply breathtaking, and the attention to detail throughout the property is exceptional. One of our favourite features was the private beach area. Although the hotel operates a first-come, first-served policy for sunbeds, we never struggled to find one regardless of the time of day. We also appreciated that guests cannot reserve beds, and any unattended beds are cleared after around 30 minutes, which keeps things fair for everyone. Fresh towels are available at both the beach and pool areas, and the service throughout the hotel was outstanding. Room towels were changed daily, and on several occasions our room was serviced twice in one day. The staff went above and beyond to make our stay effortless. We visited Chania Old Town a couple of times, and the hotel was always happy to arrange taxis for us. They also organised a fantastic private self-drive boat hire experience, coordinating everything with the boat company and arranging our transport to and from the port. Every single person we encountered, both within the hotel and around Chania, was friendly, welcoming and polite. We particularly loved our taxi journeys, which often came with an impromptu history lesson about Crete and the local area! This was one of the best hotel stays we have experienced, and we will definitely be returning. We are already looking at booking one of the Domes sister hotels so that we can bring our children with us on our next visit. We spent 11 days in this hotel. It is a designer and boutique place located by a stunning beach. What makes it a special and unique place is unquestionably the cuisine and the staff. Food is just exquisite. Not only is it delicious but it is served in an elegant and very attractive way. The chef, who we got to meet (a passionate young man!) truly deserves a Michelin star. During our stay there was not a single dish we would find mediocre - absolutely everything was mind-blowing. The staff are always smiley, helpful and friendly, however they are never pushy or intrusive. They make a fantastic team. The rooms are super clean with housekeeping twice a day. The design might seem a little odd - with the bath on the terrace and the sink in the middle of the room, however when you start using them - such an arrangement does stand to reason. For sure we would love to return one day - it’s a gem!

What can l say about this hotel it really is fantastic. We booked a wellness loft over looking the quite pool. On arivall we were shown round the hotel then our room. We have never experienced this before. Our room was fantastic on the top balcony we had a hot tub ans 2 loungers with a view of the quite pool and a fantastic view of the sea. The room was emaculate through our stay made up in the morning with a turn down at night with eithe choclates or turkish delight left on the pillow. The breakfasts are amazing with every thing you coulf wish for. You can put requests in for any thing you want and sit there as long as you want over looking the beach. Ad Gorgeos the waiter said his office view was one of the best you could dream for. The staff are fantastic they could never do enough for you and l never saw any them with out a smile on their faces. There was no problem getting sun beds. The quite pool was hardly used and the main pool was also quite. The beach has got ample beds. I could go on for ever about the hotel most mornings at breakfast a member of staff would ask you how your stay was and if there was any way they could improve it. Domes Noruz is simply fantastic! From the operations manager to the front desk to housekeeping to servers the customer service is exemplary. The gym is well equipped, has a great personal trainer who is knowledgeable and helpful and well maintained equipment. We have stayed in two different room types both of which were beautiful and comfortable. The pools are gorgeous and the hotel provides comfortable lounge chairs with tables and umbrellas at both the pools and sea side. Domes has delicious food in Topos restaurant.

We had an amazing stay at this incredible hotel. The staff were incredibly warm and welcoming. We absolutely loved the private pool and stunning views. We received a lovely, generous welcome amenity as Titanium Elite members, which was such a pleasant surprise. The breakfast was absolutely delicious. We will definitely book again soon. Dr. Tong Wang
