Loved our stay at this hotel. We came in late (11 PM) and check in was great with a glass of bubbly and a cold towel for our faces. They showed us to our room and there was a meal waiting for us since we missed supper. That was the best surprised as we were both a little hungry and didn't know if we could get food. The room was amazing. Cold plunge pool at the entrance, two floors with a terrace with a round tub and a sitting area with a tv and bluetooth speaker. Downstairs was the bed and washroom. Very interesting layout and the upstairs terrace has a view of the beach which was beautiful. The room came with a half board, meaning breakfast and lunch or supper each day. Food was great, restaurant service was great. The pool was nice. The busy pool was quiet really although there is a quiet pool as well. The beach is great, lots of loungers on the beach and you don't need to fight for loungers in the morning. They have signs on the chairs that they remove towels after 30 minutes. Loved that! Things I would like to see: food is modern Greek and very creative at times. I would enjoy more authentic classic Greek cuisine sometimes. The menu should change once in a while as it is the same menu each day. The music is a musac type of modern music which is nice but I didn't feel that I was in Greece until I left the resort. They even had a two piece band come and play at supper...they also played elevator music. I could have been anywhere on earth at a very nice resort. A Greek touch would be nice. All and all a beautiful resort on a beautiful beach with great service and helpful staff. The sunset is amazing. I would stay here again for sure.

We have arrived back at our Massachusetts home in the US and cannot stop reflecting upon the memories of our stay at Domes Noruz Chania during the week of May 6th, 2026. This was our first time in Chania, Crete, and our first time in Greece! We always knew that Greek hospitality was exceptionally warm and welcoming—a family who treats you like family. This is exactly how we were received the moment we walked onto this stunning property. A mature but relaxed environment where you are swept up and taken away from life's realities, even if just for a short time. The one person who welcomed us from the moment he met us until our final goodbyes was Special Guest Agent Kostas. A true professional, always ready to greet you with a smile and a caring conversation; always the first you see in the day and the last before heading back to your room. Kostas didn't just love his job; he lived his passion to make others comfortable and assist in any way he possibly could to guarantee a positive outcome. Kostas—you were the highlight of our week and represent the hospitality industry so well and proudly. Thank YOU! The meals prepared at the restaurant, Topos, were nothing short of true brilliance. From breakfast to dinner, everything we consumed was delicious, plentiful, beautifully prepared and presented, and creative. The blend of textures and tastes danced on our palates, like experiencing a dinner and a show. The service was always on point and never intrusive. We became very comfortable and friendly with two servers who made such an impression on us—namely Michael (Sommelier) and Constantina (Shift Leader/Server). Both helped us with the menu in choosing the best food combinations and wine pairings. Each had their own personality and was always ready to share a story and laugh with us, while never sacrificing the needs of other tables. These two gems added so much fun during our evenings at the resort. Saying "goodbye" to Michael and Constantina was not easy. Our sincerest "thanks" are extended to each. We also have to acknowledge those who work so hard and are very seldom seen—the housekeeping and maintenance staff at the resort. Our comfort, our safety, our enjoyment, and the best memories we made are literally in the "hands" of these hardworking individuals. Thank you to your team who took this beautifully designed resort, polished it up, and served it on a silver platter! Their dedication to creating a "magical experience" is so evident in the work they do. As you can imagine, we had a surreal experience at Domes Noruz Chania and will most definitely return once again. This is most certainly a place I would highly recommend to others. You are an outstanding resort. You are true to your mission to provide an "unparalleled experience of luxurious relaxation and festivities." You have assembled the most compassionate and talented team, led by some real superstars like Kostas. In the words of the late poet Maya Angelou, "People will forget what you said, people will forget what you did, but people will never forget how you made them feel." We spent 6 spectacular nights at this resort and loved every minute of it. The service is impeccable, the rooms are very comfortable, and the food was excellent. Special thanks to Efi. On our first night, we were having dinner outside on the upper deck and it started raining. She moved us downstairs and inside, refreshed everything and looked after us all night. From that day on, she checked up on us every day and gave us some great suggestions things to do locally. We beach is beautiful and very walkable, the spa is amazing, and there is even a gym, which I did use and enjoyed. We really can't wait to go back. There is one item we questioned, and as so many people have mentioned in other reviews, it if the sink on the island in the bedroom. In the standard rooms, the sink where you brush your teeth, wash your hands, etc. is in the middle of the room. There is no other sink in the bathroom, this is the only one. It looks like the architect was trying to be hip and funky, but the design is impractical, inefficient and a very poor use of space. My wife and I have been in the construction industry for over 30 years each, and this is a horrible design. You can't use the sink without waking up your partner, and water splashes on the floor. Unfortunately, it is not cost effective to correct this design flaw, but this was a major defect by whoever designed it. This is not reflection on the management or personnel at this resort; they were amazing and went out of their way to make our stay as perfect as possible. And despite the crazy sink, we will be going back.

A hotel that offers peaceful quiet enjoyment, even when the hotel is near full. Plenty of sun beds always available by the pools and on the beach. We chose a loft sea view room, that came with the half board haute living. If you only need a light lunch, the VIP lounge fulfils all your needs and is a cool place to avoid the midday sun. Our room had a lounge area in the loft along with access to the large balcony with hammock, loungers, table and chairs and a hot tub - along with great views of the sea. Our private plunge pool was at the room entrance downstairs, so not used so much. The bedroom area was reasonable, though the sink position in the room took up a lot of space. Half board was good, though the main restaurant, TOPOS, only change the selection of the day, so we only ate there twice. Though you can pick from the a la carte for an extra charge. We ate at RAW twice, first on our free meal included with our stay and secondly from their main menu. Both were excellent. All the staff were exceptionally friendly. Specific praise for Efi, the restaurant manager at RAW, who remembered our food choices from one visit to the next and was so friendly. Also, our housekeeper whose attention to detail even extended to seeing exactly what tea bag flavours and coffee pods we had used to ensure we were stocked up on our favourites.

This hotel thoroughly deserves a five star review. Beautifully located right on the seafront, it’s a stylish, modern and attractive development. Everyone working there was incredibly attentive, courteous and helpful. It was probably the best customer service experience we’ve ever enjoyed in an up-market hotel. An abundance of choice for breakfast which included some delightful pastries and cakes. Evening meals were ample, tasty and attractively presented. The menu gives guests the chance to enjoy some Greek specialities. The library underneath reception was a quiet and comfortable place where guests can sample a wide range of snacks and complimentary soft and alcoholic drinks in the afternoon and early evening. Our room was well-equipped, with a large double bed that reminded us of home. There was no need to battle for sunbeds on the beach or by the pools as there were plenty to go round. During one day of poor weather, we visited the charming old town of Chania which was only a €20 taxi ride from the hotel. It’s definitely worth a visit even it means having to drag yourself away for a few hours from the luxury of this hotel. We would definitely come back here again if we choose to return to Crete for a holiday.
