The Charleston Place is an exceptional hotel in every way, with a perfect location, beautiful facilities, and an elegant atmosphere. However, what truly makes the difference is the outstanding level of service and professionalism of the entire team. A very special mention goes to Shruti, the Front Office Director, whose professionalism, kindness, and attention to detail were truly exceptional. She made us feel genuinely welcome and ensured that our experience was memorable from beginning to end. This level of personal attention is what distinguishes a great hotel from an outstanding one. We had a wonderful stay and would not hesitate to return. Highly recommended for anyone looking for exceptional hospitality in Charleston.

The Moment of Awe and Beauty
My overall experience at The Charleston Place was perfect. My first impression was made by a gentleman working at the front desk named Alessandro. I can honestly say he is one of the best I’ve ever encountered upon arriving at a hotel. He was thorough with every single thing discussed and was so very kind. I instantly knew my stay would be amazing because of him. Theresa, who works at the club level, was also amazing. She prepared perfect drinks, engaged in authentic conversations and made you feel like you were at home. There are two other individuals that left an impression. Ben and Roosevelt both helped with the luggage getting up settled in and helping us depart. Roosevelt had a smile that makes him hard to forget. The flower arrangements, the cleanliness, the attention to details created such a spectacular sight and experience that one just can’t forget.

This entire experience was absolutely incredible. We had such wonderful service! Truly the entire staff was so intentional and thoughtful. Amy, Jessie and Krishchelle truly went above and beyond. I will never forget this experience.

I traveled with my family (husband, and two children ages 2 and 4) on a Luxury Link auction package to Charleston Place in August. True good service is making travel effortless for the visitor, and Charleston Place delivered. There was no problem in bringing our children. We arrived about an hour before official check-in, but our room was ready and keys were given. Concierge had pre-printed directions to many of the sites. Finally, our Luxury Link credits for spa and dinner was automatically applied at check-out, so the check-out sheet that I received the morning of departure already had the correct amount that needed to be charged. Effortless! The Club floor included an expanded continental buffet breakfast, as well as drinks and finger foods throughout most of the day. This was very convenient and the breakfast and evening hors d'oeuvres were particularly extensive. What makes Charleston Place stand out from myriad other places to stay in Charleston - many more historic or quaint or intimate - is the amenities offered. The pool with surrounding deck and kiddie pool is a very pleasant spot. The spa treatments were wonderful and very professional. Dinner at Charleston Grill was our favorite meal of the trip. The flavors were complex and fresh - this is not your typical fried and heavy Southern cuisine. I can see Charleston Place appealing to business travelers, couples needing pampering, families with older children, and yes, families with young children. All in all, a service-oriented hotel in a wonderful location with superior amenities and appealing to many different types of travelers.
