I had an absolutely incredible stay at the Emeline Hotel, and the biggest reason was the exceptional hospitality from Ramona, Ashley, and Shanique. From the moment I arrived, they made me feel genuinely welcomed. Their kindness, professionalism, and attention to detail were outstanding. Every interaction came with a warm smile, a positive attitude, and a sincere desire to make sure my stay was perfect. It’s rare to find a team that goes above and beyond so effortlessly. The Emeline is already a beautiful hotel with an amazing atmosphere, but employees like Ramona, Ashley, and Shanique are what truly set it apart. Their friendly service turned a great stay into an unforgettable one. If you’re visiting Charleston, I can’t recommend the Emeline enough. Thank you, Ramona, Ashley, and Shanique, for making my trip so memorable. I’ll definitely be back!

My stay at the Emeline Hotel was exceptional from beginning to end, and I was extremely pleased with the overall experience. The housekeeping team, especially Roberta Brown, went above and beyond to ensure my room was always spotless, comfortable, and welcoming. The front desk agent from Jamaica made me feel genuinely valued from check-in through departure, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere as if i was home in the Bahamas. I also appreciated the excellent recommendations for local restaurants, which made exploring the area even more enjoyable. Every interaction reflected outstanding hospitality, professionalism, and attention to detail. I truly enjoyed my stay and look forward to returning to the Emeline Hotel in the future. Also thanks to the other amazing housekeeper from Jamaica as well who provided me with herbal tea and fresh fruits. Shout out to Mike the Engineer who came to adjust the thermostat and replace remote. He was timely and accommodating which I expected from him being from the Island of The Bahamas such as myself.

Emeline is a premier hotel located in downtown Charleston and is a jewel of the Charleston community. From the moment we walked in, we felt right at home. The General Manager, Rachel, greeted us at the front desk with a smile on her face and was extremely welcoming. My girlfriend & I stayed here due to our AC unit breaking down at our house, and it was a perfect (unplanned) staycation. Rachel, has made every step of our experience here at Emeline unforgettable. I'd highly recommend this property for any one looking to visit Charleston.

This sounds more like your voice—casual, personal, and recommendation-focused: I came to Charleston for a bachelorette weekend and decided to stay a few extra days by myself to explore the city. I stayed at the Emeline and honestly could not recommend it more. The hotel is beautiful, upscale, and right in the middle of downtown, so everything was super walkable. The restaurant downstairs was great, and I loved having the little café for coffee in the morning. One of my favorite touches was that every floor had a small kitchenette stocked with coffee, water, and fresh fruit every morning. The service was amazing the entire stay. Everyone was friendly and helpful, and the hotel just felt really welcoming. They also have bikes you can use, which was such a fun way to get around Charleston. While I was there, I did a ghost tour, a carriage ride through the city, and on my last night went to a comedy show down the road where the audience becomes part of the show—it was hilarious. If you’re visiting Charleston, I’d also highly recommend doing a kayaking trip. As a solo female traveler, I felt completely safe the entire time. I never felt nervous walking around downtown or coming back to the hotel at night. The Emeline was the perfect home base for my trip, and it made exploring Charleston on my own feel easy and relaxing. I would absolutely stay here again.
