Thank you Rodney! We appreciate you taking care of our vehicle and grabbing our dog’s bowl when we forgot to unload it.

My family had the pleasure of staying at Emeline for several days in order to visit the College of Charleston for my youngest son. We found our accommodations far exceeded our expectations. Emeline was central to exploring. We loved the moody atmosphere for relaxing and the best morning coffee shop, Clerks, adjacent to the hotel. The lavender lattes were a favorite. Kudos to the valet team for going above and beyond. We will be back. Heidi Westby-Gibson

We stayed four nights here upon a recommendation of a friend in Charleston. It was the most fabulous hotel- location and rooms and best bar and restaurant right here. Nicole was the very best and needs to be commended for her professionalism. We are coming back because of how great she took care of us. Mark the valet was fantastic too.

A Great retro vibe. Very good central location. Walk to everything. Staff and restaurant was very good - among the best of service. That said, our bill included charges for everything under the sun - including a $500. fee for smoking. The bill was presented casually with not pre-amble as to the $500. charge. On review of the bill, we returned to the desk and contested the charge. The agent explained that they showed an alert from deters in the room - hence the charges. We explained that we do not and did note smoke, vape, or light anything such as a candle. The agent quickly remove the charge without question (it seemed routine to us) and apologized. She stated that sometimes steam from the bathroom can set off the detectors. The whole transaction seemed to be very routine as if this charge is was very common. So, my advice is enjoy this hotel and don’t neglect to carefully review of the charges.
