Let me start with the good things: The rooms are very spacious, clean and very well-appointed. The beds are excellent, the bathrooms are very nice and it is extremely quiet at night. But the service...it leaves a lot to be desired. To begin with, I booked two rooms as I was traveling with my daughter and granddaughter. I wrote weeks before arriving to ask that our rooms be adjoining or near one-another and was told they would be. We ended up on different floors and different ends of the hall. When we arrived one room was ready and we were told we would be called when the second room was ready but we were never called. If you want a good laugh, look at the website of the hotel for a photo of the roof top pool. It looks lovely. When you arrive you will find that it is tiny, most likely a converted hot tub, it is 3 feet deep and not more than 7 feet long and wide. The staff at the front desk know less than the guests who are visiting. When asked how far something is we were told to "put it in Google." We were also told that a jeep was available, first come-first serve, to shuttle us around. We wanted to visit the Magnolia Gardens and Plantation and the woman at the front desk told us the Jeep would take us, to wait for it out front. But, the bell hop who drove the Jeep subsequently told us that it was too far for him to drive us. It was far, we learned when we got an Uber but the front desk didn't even seem to know how far it was or that it was too far for the complimentary jeep. There was nothing that we asked that anyone at the front desk could answer. We were told that at 8 pm there would be complimentary cookies and milk in the hotel library. Several guests gathered and there were a pile of cookies each in a brown paper bag, no milk and no one from the hotel. The "free" "kick starter" breakfast, the only breakfast available, is a basket of random and terrible things left at the front door of each room in the morning. The contents are an odd assortment of foods, maybe yogurts, maybe terrible mass-produced soggy rolls, maybe some sort of pre-fab egg dish in a cup,or peanuts in a plastic cup - any odd thing. Even though it was all terrible, at least let guests order what they want so it doesn't all go to waste or, just say you don't serve breakfast. On top of everything, it is all served in single-use plastic so the food is wasted and the ecological impact is ridiculous. The hotel is not inexpensive but, on a Monday morning when we asked for a late check out as our plane was leaving in the evening. We were told that we could have one hour on one room or pay $150 for each additional hour. It is hard for me to believe that they could not accommodate us any better than that. Although services were still terrible, a shout out to Ms. Hill at the front desk who was so very pleasant and tried her best to be helpful unlike the other, very unfriendly front desk woman. And lastly, to Jack, the bellhop and Jeep driver who was charming, pleasant, accommodating and knowledgeable as opposed to his colleague who was surely and always "too busy" to help us out.

The Watch was such an amazing spot for dinner with my girlfriends! Love the atmosphere, our server, our amazing host, Amani, she recently excelled in making our experience amazing! Zoe was such amazing and attentive server, she really made our experience 1 of 1, and truly knew how to make a customer happy! She definitely has 3 new regulars on her hands. 10/10 Will be back VERY soon.
