The Spectator Hotel

My rating of 4 is nothing the hotel did wrong, I purely reserve 5 for those hotels that are truly next level. The Spectator was great. The rooms are lovely, the location is wonderful. There are complimentary snacks and breakfast. The breakfast was really fabulous for being free. They were great with our kids and really made us feel welcome. The only drawback was I felt the front desk staff could have been a bit better on arrival. But overall very good experience and we would definitely stay again on another visit to Charleston.

This place was incredible. My wife and I were literally sitting in the lap of luxury. Every little thing you could think of was there. Breakfast was brought to our room every morning and was delicious. All of the staff were friendly and helpful. The hotel was situated within walking distance of everything; bars, restaurant, clubs, shopping, tours, historic sites and museums. I loved this place.

Location! Service! Taking care of guests! Breakfast in bed included! Amazing! And our butler, yes butler!, David was wonderful. I will stay here again and hopefully soon. The Spectator is a wonderful hotel that makes you feel welcome and will be at the center of everything in Charleston.

Perfect location making it easy to walk to the most popular sites in town. Amazing service. Beautifully appointed rooms. The bar has a great vibe. Amenities like the butler service, welcome drink, free minibar, & breakfast make your stay feel very special.

No detail is spared. Everyone is friendly and says hello. The room was 2x the size we expected and no amenities were spared. In room Cokes, water, sparkling water, La Colombe coffee and snacks are included with your stay! Bathroom was perfect. The mattress, sheets and pillows; all glorious. When we looked for hotels, The Spectator was a slight premium to others. Maybe 10%? Worth every penny. Don't stay anywhere else.
