Reviews for The Spectator Hotel

A place to remember

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 5 days ago

Had 3 hotels and I couldn’t decide which one. The wife made this choice and I am so glad she did. From checking in to checking out- a great experience. A great location, loved our room, amenities and the awesome staff. We will be going back.

Romantic anniversary in Charleston

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 3 weeks ago

My wife and I celebrated our anniversary at the Spectator Hotel and cannot recommend it highly enough. This was our first trip to Charleston - the location in the French Quarter is perfect and everything is within walking distance. The Butler staff was amazing. Michelle, Jim and David welcomed us to Charleston, rescued my wife with an emergency advil, and suggested a full day of activities. We'd start each day with them delivering a delicious breakfast to our room - our favorite part was the brûléed grapefruit. In the bar, Allen and Evelyn worked wonders behind the bar - they are highlighting 10 years of their most popular cocktails right now. Highly highly recommend. My favorites are Trouble in the Henhouse and Grandpa's Rocking Chair. We'll definitely be staying at the Spectator next time we visit Charleston.

Favorite hotel in Charleston!

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 3 weeks ago

This hotel is a MUST STAY when visiting Charleston. My boyfriend and I took a weekend trip and The Spectator exceeded our expectations. We felt very close to the activity but the hotel itself felt secluded and private. The butler staff was amazing and we could not recommend this place more. 10/10!
