Whether traveling on business or for pure indulgent R&R, Zero George delivers Charleston’s premier boutique hotel experience. Named after our actual street address, Zero George is comprised of sixteen lush guest rooms and studios in three painstakingly restored historic residences and two brick carriage houses that surround our private garden courtyard. We’ve infused it all with a sense of intimacy and warm personality, honoring the buildings’ solid 1804 bones and graceful architecture with measured, timeless design.

We were looking for a get away and looking to explore a part of the country we hadn't experienced before. We also needed a relaxing place that would be comfortable. This property was beyond our expectations. The intimate setting in the culture and style of the city more than meat our needs. The staff was amazing and the service was everything you could ask for in a stay. They were attentive to everything. The property was clean, the response to a couple requests were prompt, and the location was perfect. We walked, we used ride share, and we drove wherever we wanted to go. Everything was in reach. We will recommend this to friends and family and hope to return.

Zero George provided an unequal adventure. The accommodations, staff, restaurant were all amazing. It came with all the Conn with today’s necessities but kept it historic charm.

What a charming and unique inn! Every detail was noticed and appreciated including nightly water carafes and chocolate chip cookies. With an excellent staff gifted with extraordinary hospitality, George exceeded our expectations, and we can't wait for our next visit.

The hotel is really charming but comfortable and well taken care off. The entire staff was lovely. Their recommendations about local tours and sites were first class. We found the hotel really well located and having access to bikes whenever we needed them prove to be super useful We were exceptionally comfortable in our room and the breakfast were simple but inviting.

This was our second time staying at Zero George. I can’t say it was ‘Southren hospitality’ at its best. The room was lovely although there is a metal staircase to the second floor garden suite where we stayed one night, although we booked it for two nights. The staff were helpful although there was confusion as to the length of our stay. If you have a disability (I fractured my ankle back in October) be sure to ask for an ADA room WITHOUT steps. The breakfast and amenities are great, just be sure to ask exactly what is available due to changes in weather, menu and other variables. Be sure to visit Sullivan’s island. It’s about 20 minutes from the hotel and the restaurants and shops are great. The beach patrol people were helpful. Be sure to keep your dogs on leash at the beach as we saw several running loose and tearing down the boardwalk. Overall a 10/10 except for the miscommunication with Zero George.
