Whether traveling on business or for pure indulgent R&R, Zero George delivers Charleston’s premier boutique hotel experience. Named after our actual street address, Zero George is comprised of sixteen lush guest rooms and studios in three painstakingly restored historic residences and two brick carriage houses that surround our private garden courtyard. We’ve infused it all with a sense of intimacy and warm personality, honoring the buildings’ solid 1804 bones and graceful architecture with measured, timeless design.

Lovely and comfortable accommodations in Charleston. Easy walk to restaurants, market and shopping. Exceptional staff! We will stay again!

Pricey- yes. Worth it - yes. Experience true Charleston hospitality in a luxury stay without being over bothered. It's a win. Hyper clean but on an antique property, it's a hat trick. Zero George is everything you want at a historic hotel that you never actually experience. I can't wait to go back when it's warm to idle on the porches and courtyards.

This hotel is a dreamscape of elegance, where every detail whispers comfort and beauty. What truly makes it unforgettable is its ensemble of whimsical hosts - curators of delight who turn simple moments into celebrations. A greeting feels like a performance of sparkle and magic. In my experience staying here, guests aren’t just cared for - they’re cherished, uplifted, and made to feel extraordinary. If you haven’t been, you must make time to be their guest.

Beautiful property in a great location in Charleston. If this was marketed as a bed-and-breakfast, I would give it five stars. However, this is not a five star hotel. Significant lack of amenities, casually dress staff, restaurant with very limited access, etc. We were on the top floor of the main building, significant noise from the street, no elevator. If you like B&B type stays, I would highly recommend. If you are looking for a comfortable, five star hotel, look elsewhere.
