Whether traveling on business or for pure indulgent R&R, Zero George delivers Charleston’s premier boutique hotel experience. Named after our actual street address, Zero George is comprised of sixteen lush guest rooms and studios in three painstakingly restored historic residences and two brick carriage houses that surround our private garden courtyard. We’ve infused it all with a sense of intimacy and warm personality, honoring the buildings’ solid 1804 bones and graceful architecture with measured, timeless design.

This gastronomic experience is beyond a five-star restaurant review. We've eaten all over the world but never anything like this. The ingenuity, the unique flavor combinations, the presentation, flavors, service are impeccable. We had what looked like a POTTED plant! Leaves, stem, soil, & pot all created to be fully edible (& remarkably delicious). They had "cigars" with edible "ash" and gold band. It's crazy! We were invited in to see the kitchen, the chef is so personal. The entire staff work in tandem like a fleet of drones (in a very good, quiet way). Yes, it's expensive, no doubt about it; but you'll never find a match to this culinary adventure .

Charming hotel in a quiet location but close to King Street. The staff is hands down the most lovely and gracious people ever.

Our stay at Zero George was PHENOMINAL!!! Our room was beautiful, the grounds were gorgeous, the breakfast was yummy, the wine hour was wonderful and the staff was FANTASTIC!! Everybody (office staff, breakfast ladies, bartenders) went ABOVE and BEYOND to make our stay just PERFECT! We cannot wait to go back! THANK YOU!!!

This is a small high-end boutique property that captures the very essence of Charleston. It’s comprised of three restored residences and two carriage houses that allow for small moments that you wouldn’t otherwise experience at a “big box” 5 star hotel. Luisa and David were very welcoming at reception and the hotel hosts a lovely wine and cheese hour for its guests. While I was initially disappointed to realize my stay coincided with the night their acclaimed restaurant and caviar bar were closed, it allowed me to take advantage of the cooking class they offer. The food was phenomenal and a fun experience for anyone who enjoys that sort of activity. I only had the opportunity to stay here one night due to a scheduling conflict but can say, without absolute reservation, that I will return the next time I am in Charleston.

Zero George is a historic property that is beautifully maintained and in proximity to downtown Charleston. There is charming seating throughout the property, and the hospitality cannot be beat. Our room was ready when we arrived, and a special welcoming note was left for us. Breakfast was great and prepared us for the day ahead. Will definitely return - no hesitation.
