Can't say enough about how amazing our stay at the four seasons was. The grounds are gorgeous, pools are stunning and the staff is top tier. From front desk, to poolside servers, to the amazing and accommodating chefs who dealt with all our dietary needs (thank you Andrea and Raj!!) we will definitely be coming back with family. The spa was perfect as well, views are spectacular. Everyone here is friendly and happy to make sure your stay goes smoothly, managers check in on you often and you definitely see the four seasons quality in your stay.

Went with our family and stayed in a suite. Overall the location and many of the amenities were lovely. Very swimmable and clear black sand beaches great for little children and right by the pool area. Kids club was fantastic with super activities, a nice clean and updated space, and caring staff- my kids couldn’t wait to go back every day. There were a few major gaps though that weren’t up to fs standards. One was the room- it smelled horribly of bug spray and mold and the buildings overall are all very dated and due for updates- it was uncomfortable for us to stay in the room for long. Service and staff was average at best- very slow and hard to find people to help- no one cleaned the pool and beach chairs towards the afternoon when people left and it was often impossible to find a seat or service anywhere. The pool and splash pad need some major help- mold around the perimeters, uneven floors, generally very dated and in need of repair. The adults pool seemed fine. The resort should offer clear beach bags like they do at the Anguilla location. Loved the monkey tour and the coconut experience- those are musts. Quality of tennis area is also high. I would probably not recommend this property as it is for the price and experience expectations.

This is a very nice property, the resort and all amenities are amazing but what truly sets this place apart is the staff. I’ve never seen a more polite or caring staff!! Food, pools and rooms are all of high quality. Golf course needs a little TLC (layout is amazing but not in the best condition).

We stayed here the last week in April for an anniversary trip for my husband and I, paying very premium rates. I tend to favor hotels that are more intimate and don’t cater to corporate groups. I was shocked to find out upon arrival that FS Nevis is a hotel that does a lot of corporate business during the high season like we were in. It’s 2 planes and a boat to get to so not easy and not a big conference hotel. But i guess it is? If I had known this I might not have went. The week we were there over 90% of the hotel was with an insurance group and it was us and a few other families at most not with that company. The large group affected us in 3 ways: * Most nights for dinner only 1 restaurant was available to eat, the others closed or being taken over by the group. Huge bummer. When in those restaurants we were sometimes the only people eating so it felt weird. At breakfast it was all corporate people with badges hustling and bustling and I felt I was at a work conference and not a relaxing resort. * We could not do excursions (either sunset sail or a snorkeling trip) because FS requires 6 minimum and the hotel was essentially empty of leisure travelers. *When the group members were poolside, it changed the dynamic. The clientele who can afford a FS is different than those staying for free and they treated it like a work party and not a luxury stay. One guy was smoking a cigar despite it being a non-smoking hotel, and packs of coworkers hung out in the pool drinking and cheering. *The adult pool was closed for one day for said group, and another day was not usable due to the workers setting up for the event the next day. I found out later that from February-June the FS Nevis is mostly filled with groups, so if you plan to go during that time, buyer beware. For the high prices we were paying I don’t want to be in convinced by a corporate takeover, and in some cases we were. With that said, here is how I would rate the rest of the property and stay: Arrivals: B FS has to down to a science to pick you up at St Kitts airport, drive you 20 mins to the boat and then whisk you to the dock where FS staff is waiting to take you directly to your room with luggage to follow. No need to go to front desk to check in. My only small gripe is we don’t check luggage, but had to wait 45 mins in the van for all the other families to come out to go to the dock. The vans wait for everyone so you can only go as fast as the slowest family. This was a bit annoying as I don’t love waiting after a long day of travel. Room: A We booked an ocean front but were upgraded to a HUGE suite bigger than my condo which was lovely and unexpected. Housekeeping: A Came early every day and did a fantastic job. Kudos to the team. Staff friendliness: A Everyone we encountered was super friendly, helpful, and got to know us by name. Each day the pool team greeted us and was always there when you needed something. Restaurants: B+ We are not big fish eaters so take our food review with a grain of salt since that is the majority of the menu in most restaurants. . Breakfast was great (ordering off the menu is cheaper than the buffet but portions are still huge), poolside lunches were also good. We liked Mango especially for the nice sea atmosphere. Esquilinia we were not a fan of, we just didn’t think the food was all that great. Pool/Beach: A They have 3 pools, 1 for adults, 2 that allow kids with one of those clearly catering to children. The pool temp was perfect. Refreshingly cool but not cold. Between the 3 pools and the Long Beach with chairs everywhere, they will not run out of space and you won’t have to fight for a chair anywhere. Activities: C- As mentioned, we couldn’t take advantage of much due to the groups. We did get a taxi with tour driver to take us around the island which was a good morning. You can grab that right at the front entrance. Spa: A I went twice and almost went a third time my massages were so good. The treatment rooms are in these little Caribbean huts dotted along the spa property and they have an outdoor cold plunge pool and a heated pool. Very relaxing to sit and stare at the mountain. Would I recommend the FS Nevis for a couples or family vacation? yes, but I would find out first if groups are there and what % of the occupancy they are.

The trip was amazing and the resort was classic and well kept, you do have to ask to get the things you need but once we did/ everything went smoothly. One employee that stood out and went above and beyond was Killion, thank you Killion for making our entire trip relaxing and Lux!!
