Hyatt Regency Chennai

We visited your restaurant (Spice Haat) for a team lunch and had a wonderful experience. The ambiance was welcoming, the service attentive especially by Laxman, and the variety of food impressive. Our team truly enjoyed the meal and the overall atmosphere.

Hi, I type this review from room number 728. I checked in today around 2:30 pm. I was told by a male at the reception that my room was upgraded to Club category, one of the previliges of club category was happy hours between 6-8pm. General Service at the check in was really good and followed by welcome whatsapp messages from Saraswati (lady at the reception). Later on, when I enquired to Saraswati about happy hours this was denied (bear in mind my room was upgraded). I also enquired the reception about the club upgrade, I was told I was upgraded to a top floor room and that was the upgrade. This is misleading information as the pool view king room I had booked should be in one of the top floors as advised in their website. So an "upgrade" so to speak did not happen in the first place!! This is now a matter of principle, remember I did not ask for upgrade in the first place. A 5 star hotel should wade waters carefully and in a hospitable way. In this instance they have been found wanting. PS - Excellent room service by Subhajit!!!!!

We have stayed 2 days in Hyatt Regency, Chennai. We booked 2 rooms. Our personal experience was very fruitful compared to other Hyatt hotels (I stayed in Mumbai (BKC) and Goa).

The Hyatt Regency Chennai consistently ensures an exceptional stay. I commend the excellent management and operation of the property.

Hyatt Regency is situated in a very convenient location, close to the metro and away from the traffic noise. Very pleasant & welcoming atmosphere. Rooms are very spacious, well equipped, good ventilation & very clean. Excellent service by all the staff.
