5/5 Stars My recent stay at the Hyatt Regency Chennai was so shockingly pleasant that I am convinced the staff is competing to see how much pampering a regular human can take before they completely forget how to function in the real world. Here is the breakdown of my survival inside this oasis of hospitality: The "A-Team" Takeover Aditi (Guest Relations): Absolute rockstar. She treats you with the kind of care usually reserved for royalty or people who have won the lottery. If I asked for a map, I’m pretty sure she would have personally hand-drawn it with calligraphy. The Front Desk 'A' Squad: I met an army of amazing front desk staff, and yes, many of their names started with 'A' (sorry, did not write them down). They checked me in so efficiently that my jet-lagged brain barely had time to process that I was no longer at the airport. The Massive Suite Upgrade- They unexpectedly upgraded me to their absolute biggest suite. This room wasn't just accommodation; it was so massive that I genuinely wished I had brought 10 people with me just to fill the echo. Club Lounge & Housekeeping Wizardry The Club Lounge: A phenomenal experience. The lounge staff was wonderful, attentive, and kept my glass filled faster than gravity could empty it. It became my official headquarters for premium snacking. Santanu (Housekeeping): This man is not a housekeeper; he is a magician. I suspect Santanu has cloaking technology. He somehow knew exactly when I left for the lounge, swooped in, straightened my crooked toothbrush, folded my clothes into perfect origami, and vanished without a trace. The One Tiny Plot Twist if I have to find exactly one thing to nitpick in this palace: the complimentary room slippers need an upgrade. They were so paper-thin that my feet genuinely couldn't tell they were wearing anything at all. In a room that massive, hiking from the bed to the couch felt like a barefoot pilgrimage across the cold hardwood floor. The Verdict: The hospitality here doesn't just go "above and beyond"—it enters low Earth orbit. I arrived as a tired traveler and left as a spoiled, high-maintenance diva. 10/10 would let the A-Team pamper me again (just bring thicker slippers next time).

The TV, Telephone and WiFi in the room do not work. The staff is useless in fixing any issues. The breakfast is also very average.

Excellent 5 star hotel in Chennai as would ecpect....great service from everyone on site from arrival to room service. Everything well maintained and working and quality fittings in rooms. As is the case in India alcoholic drinks outrageously expensive made worse by markup. Only moderate criticism is qualy of food could be better at this price level.

It's been a wonderful experience. They take care of your each and every requirement. This housekeeping guy named Santanu ensured I had a great stay. Even the POC named Aditi had a check on my requirements. All in one do visit this place for a great stay.
