I visited Hyat Chennai last week and I would recommend thier hospitality and the service they provided are the best. I enjoyed my stay at Hyat

It was a great experience, got upgraded to one the best room of their hotel. And kudos to laundry service (Mr.Amrita Sarkar), delivered the laundry within 8 hours of pick up.

We booked a room for three people, but our experience was nowhere near the standards expected of a brand like Hyatt. The lack of attention to basic operational details was frankly appalling. Several major issues ruined our stay: Mismatched Appliances: The room provided an iron, but the plug didn't match a single available socket in the entire room—making it completely unusable. Non-Functional Room Phone: The phone didn't work when we tried using it. While staff promised to fix it later, it failed us when we actually needed it. Basic quality assurance seems entirely neglected. Bathroom & Socket Setup: The hair dryer couldn't be used as intended. The only outlet in the washroom was taken up by the kettle, forcing us to constantly swap plugs back and forth—a hassle you don't expect at a establishment like this. Inadequate Bedding for 3 Guests: Despite paying an increased rate to accommodate three people, there was no extra bed provided, nor was the sofa set up or usable as a bed. Charging extra without providing the required accommodations felt like a pure cash grab. My family felt this experience was worse than many standard city hotels that carry a fraction of Hyatt's reputation. I brought my family here expecting a premium stay, but left feeling thoroughly disappointed. I strongly advise management to review their room setup and quality checks.

It was a good experience to stay at Hyatt Regency Chennai, Our checkin experience with tajuddin ,shavool and Vishal did a warm welcome. Special thanks to Mr. Ashok Ramkumar and spice haat team for taking good care in buffet breakfast and dinner, specially Arindam taking care of kid's fulfilling their expectations. They like the pasta. We will recommend Hyatt Regency Chennai to our friends and family. Thank you once again to Hyatt Regency Chennai Team making us feel at home.
