Still a great hotel
Our stay is a 3.5. The staff is really nice and I appreciate them. Management checks on you daily to ensure you are having a good experience. Valet service has been especially nice. The only complaints I have is cleanliness of the room at check-in. Black specks came out of the tub faucet, so we've been exclusively using the shower. There was also a food wrapper from a previous guest left lying in the floor. Staff was very receptive to feedback and quick to address the issues. This is my third visit to Chicago and stay at the Drake, so I'm not changing my routine based on the one of three stays.

Labor Day weekend getaway
Upon arrival, front desk staff was amazing and I got checked in early. My room is extremely large. Hotel is very formal! But so warm. The bar on first floor has the BEST FOOD. But today I was surprised by a bottle of wine from front desk team and Kevin. I’m a Hilton Honors Member. So amazing. Location of hotel is perfect. One of my best experiences in Chicago!

Summer trip at the drake with friends
We had a great time at the Drake, excellent location with lake view. Special shoutout to Kevin and the front desk were awesome! Loved the bar connected to the hotel.

First trip to Chicago
The Drake is awesome, like no other Hotel around. I love the history and feeling of it. Note: it is a historic hotel, so some of the wood doors need assistance closing… Located perfectly for venturing out into the city. We walked everywhere unless my wife had dress shoes on…. The Drakes customer service is very attentive and friendly.

Outstanding service across the entire hotel. Great location in the Gold Coast. Huge room overlooking Lake Michigan. This is now my first choice hotel in Chicago.
