The Drake Hotel Chicago

Joey’s knowledge of the hotel and history within along with the city was amazing! Highly recommend taking a minute to talk to him while waiting for your car!!

We stayed at The Drake Hotel this week with my wife and our two kids, and it was a fantastic experience from start to finish. The hotel itself is beautiful and full of classic Chicago charm. You can really feel the history the moment you walk in, and the location right by Lake Michigan makes it even better. Traveling with kids can sometimes be stressful, but the staff made everything easy and welcoming for our family. A special shout-out to Joey, who was absolutely outstanding. He went out of his way to help us during our stay and made sure our family felt taken care of. It’s rare to find service that genuinely stands out, and Joey definitely delivered that. The rooms were comfortable, the atmosphere was elegant but still family-friendly, and the overall experience was exactly what you hope for when visiting Chicago. We made some great memories here and would absolutely stay at The Drake again on our next trip to the city. Highly recommended for families or anyone wanting a classic Chicago hotel experience.

I always try to stay at The Drake twice a year when I have a work event in the city. It’s just for one night, but I make a tradition of treating myself. The rooms are always spotless, bed super comfortable and food in the hotel restaurant, Coq d’Or, delicious. The hotel itself is gorgeous and intimate feeling. Cozy, in the best ways. Front desk staff are always very welcoming and kind and this visit I got a free upgrade to a lake view room - beautiful!
