Avoid at all cost!😝
This iconic hotel is run down and filthy. The staff is indifferent to your patronage. Hilton is putting no $ to maintenance. I wouldn’t stay here for free … fearful of unsanitary conditions.

Great historic Chicago hotel
The Drake is a great location, and a cool old historic hotel on Michigan Avenue. The lobby is gorgeous, and the rooms are spacious with a lot of character. The rooms could use a fresh coat of paint and new carpet, and I struggled to regulate the temperature in my room. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful. Joey specifically was delightful and shared so many fun historic facts about the hotel.

Must-stay hotel
The Drake was absolutely stunning. As soon as you walk in the staff makes you feel welcome. Especially Kevin Stabile, he was so accommodating for our group and made sure every detail of our stay was taken care of. The dining options were fantastic and the location was perfect for exploring the city. I’ll definitely be back.
