I cannot review the Location of the hotel, nor the quality of the Rooms. However, I CAN review the service I have received from this hotel; and it is abhorrent. I booked a reservation for nights of Monday to Thursday. I was flying into Chicago on Monday evening. Unfortunately, my flight to Chicago was CANCELLED late Monday night primarily due to inclement weather and/or flight crew issues. There were no other options for flights to Chicago on Monday night, nor were there any feasible options on Tuesday (other Chicago flights were completely booked or EXHORBITANTLY expensive). I contacted the hotel Tuesday morning, and eventually sent an email to their reservations customer service enquiring about a refund. I provided full proof of my flight cancellation (Airfare purchase confirmation, and proof of the flight cancellation from the Airline). However, I received a response Wednesday afternoon that Eurostars would still not be refunding my reservation. I am utterly appalled by this response. I understand their policy provides for no refunds. I would understand if I had CHOSE not to travel to Chicago and not use my reservation. But I had NO choice in the events that happened causing my flight to be cancelled, and me being unable to travel to Chicago and use the hotel. Eurostars had a choice though; and they chose to SCAM me out of a little over $750 paid for this reservation 2 months ago. What am I supposed to do? Have a premonition 2 months prior when booking the reservation that there would be inclement weather and flight crew issues causing a cancellation of my flight? And adjust the dates of my travel plans? I guess I'll work on that!

***IF YOU ARE HERE FROM TIKTOK GO BACK TO LOOK FOR A BETTER HOTEL*** I stayed here for 7 nights. The staff was polite and there was only 2 things good about this hotel. The first good thing is the view that you only get with the panoramic king room, or higher selection. The second is that you are in walking distance from some tourist attractions. There is nothing luxury about this hotel!!! My first day the entire door handle outside flew off as I tried to open the door to enter the lobby, the stairs are creaky and needs WD-40, the elevator is slow at times and the wall panels in all 3 of the elevator are loose, and the front door to the room could not be opened or closed without excessive force. The room service will take forever to come, not show up, or will not answer the phone. I had to walk down to the lobby to get toilet paper as room service was called an hour prior and never showed up. Valet parking is paid for per the nightly rate and there is only 1 person servicing the entire hotel. The valet is either hard to find or there is a wait time due to the hotel only having 1 person working in that area. The valet had left our car outside running with the hazards on for over an hour. Note there was only 1-2 cars with hazards on ahead of us when the keys were turned in, but our car was never moved and was directly in the view of the lobby. I noticed once my boyfriend and I came back downstairs to retrieve our vehicle. The valet’s excuse was that he could not find the keys and that he did not have them but the keys were turned in directly to him by us. He then proceeded to open the desk where they had all of the keys and our key was the very first key he pulled out. We were lucky that we did not get a ticket and that our car was not towed. This hotel is more affordable than others but I highly recommend staying elsewhere. This hotel needs to be knocked down and rebuilt into something better.

Waited 35 mintutes for the valet guy to show up and get my keys and take my car. Arrived at 8:40pm and he didn't show until 9:15pm. Went to reception 3 times for them to call him. After a long day of work i want to come back and relax instead i'm standing on the street corner like a hobo.

The industrial-chic design with cozy wooden accents created a unique and welcoming atmosphere. Located in the vibrant River North neighborhood, we loved being steps away from shops, bars, and restaurants. The wellness area was a perfect escape, offering relaxing treatments and a sauna. A solid 4/5 for a stylish and convenient couples’ getaway!

Very disappointing experience. This hotel is definitely not 4 star hotel standard. For 2 nights of our stay we had no WiFi which really was an inconvenience. Understandable the power cut was out of the hotels control but the employees were not facilitating or accomodating in anyway. Asked for a refund early the next morning so we could move to another hotel for our second night but was refused. No TV, phone and WiFi. We were international guests and required WiFi to not only do work on our laptop but also for use to contact family and to get around etc while on this trip. We had to use Starbucks WiFi for the 2 days. Bank card had been blocked and we had asked to use the hotels phone but was told the phones were also down. The hotel offered no assistance and we had to go to an Irish bar to use a phone. Just felt really not accomodating. The room itself was small and dark - cheap furniture, small balcony door that didn't open offered the only light, shower head needs cleaning, bed sunken in the middle which was very uncomfortable. Gym also very small and outdated. Air conditioning system was way too loud and would turn on and off every few minutes. The shower area was also very strange - a glass window separated the shower from the bed which required you to pull a curtain on the bedroom side for privacy. Access to the hotel was also not professional felt like you had to walk through a restaurant every time to get to the lobby. The staff were not professional and welcoming overall which was very disappointing as we had stayed in 2 previous hotels on our trip and they were fantastic. This hotel is not worth the price and is certainly way below standard.
