Enjoyable stay made even better by the staff
We had a wonderful stay at the Chicago Fairmont. Great location with easy access to the river, parks, and lake front. Very comfortable rooms and very helpful staff. I want to give a shout out to several of them. Roberto welcomed us at the front desk and helped us several times with things we needed in the room and questions we had. Marisa at the Toro restaurant greeted us each morning with a welcoming smile and conversation and Mo furthered the welcome serving breakfast and offering a number of tips for places to visit in Chicago. Great way to start the day. Brittani was one of the people from housekeeping (who all took care of all our needs) was especially cheerful and helpful. One more shout out to Kinnari for so graciously helping resolve an issue that came up in our reservation. As you can tell the staff really contributed to our enjoyment in staying there.

AVOID! VALETS SCRATCHED OUR VEHICLE & THEY'RE REFUSING TO PAY FOR IT.
Their valets SCRATCHED my vehicle & their insurance refuses to pay despite me bringing it to their immediate attention. Their front desk staff did not know where parking garages in the area were. Check-in / Check-out were a nightmare. Their housekeeping tried to move my mobility limited husband out of our room BEFORE check-out time. Talk about being rushed out. NEVER AGAIN!

Great Stay!
Fairmont is a beautiful place to stay with great service. Rooms are comfortable, clean, with amazing views! Go to the Gold Room for breakfast- Mandana Kenton was amazing! Thanks for great hospitality and atmosphere.

Top Notch
100 % excellent. From arrival the valet was great, front desk and check-in was great. The room was wonderful. The restaurant was delicious. Our waiter was friendly. Everyone we encountered seemed cheerful and genuinely happy. Management must be doing something right. Thanks for a beautiful Chicago experience.

Nice. Dated. Close to millennium park
The hotel was nice but dated overall for a Chicago hotel. The business conference was OK, but it was on four different floors which made it annoying to get from one session to the other in a timely manner. The rooms were a decent size bathrooms were clean with bathtub and shower separate bathroom for the toilet very close to millennial Park and Bean and Giordano’s
