Fairmont Chicago Millennium Park

We came from the Philippines 16 hour flight to Chicago via Korean Airlines. Fairmont Hotel was like a soothing place to be in. The staff were courteous and the servers very friendly . I specially liked the doorman who gave us instructions to the pier to go on an architectural tour with my friends . He was very nice . My friend and I had a good time . The beds were very comfy and my roomate badgered them for ice cubes every night because she had to soak her ice bag. The staff were multicultural - my housekeeper was Chinese from Hong Kong. They eventually gave us a freezer for my roommates needs much to my amusement. Had a couple of mojitos in the Toro restaurant and a Taco at Happy hour - not too expensive. Waiters were very nice. I liked the hotel very much and would not mind staying there again next time I’m in Chicago although I have friends there who I can stay with. Next time you are in the vicinity - stay at the Fairmont .. walking distance from everything and there was a CVS that was fairly well stocked right in front.

My family and I had a wonderful experience at the Fairmont Chicago this week. Was a perfect location, in the middle of everything. The room was well appointed, I especially appreciated the efficient and very quiet air conditioning . The beds are very comfortable and the generous size bathroom was really nice! But the Fairmont Gold lounge really made our stay exquisite! We took advantage of the tasty breakfast, afternoon and evening offerings. The lounge staff is top notch! Mandana greeted us every day with a happy smile, she anticipated every request and went above and beyond to make us feel well taken care of. Similarly, Jesus was extremely kind and helpful, making sure we had everything we needed and even providing helpful tips for our stay. Also, Tamara was ever present to offer her service in a very caring manner. The team is just superb and I would give them 10 stars if there was such a rating! We will definitely come back!

I stayed over Memorial Day weekend and wanted to recognize several staff members who really stood out and made the experience much better. The lobby bar team, especially Seror, Arnaldo, Christian and Alex, provided excellent service every time I stopped by. Even with some menu limitations, like not having french fries available, they still tried their best to accommodate me and always kept a positive attitude. The drinks, service and overall hospitality were consistently great. I also want to give credit to the team at Toro, especially Cyd, Mark, Ash, Danny and Victor. Everyone there was friendly, attentive and welcoming throughout the weekend. Forgive me if I misspelled any names, but the entire staff at Toro did an excellent job and really helped create a great atmosphere. I also appreciate Brett and Roberto for helping work through a few issues during my stay. They were responsive, accommodating and genuinely made an effort to improve my overall experience. Overall, the staff hospitality was the highlight of the trip and I appreciate everyone who helped make the stay enjoyable.

I have stayed at several Fairmont Hotels, and this is the worst! Do not stay here. My first room was dirty! Shower had hair on walls, toilets not flushed, and dirty water in ice bucket. The front desk moved us to a "larger" room. It was also not great, but I didn't bother with attempting to move again. The USB strip to charge didn't work. The bathroom again, was dusty. Overall this is a 3 star hotel at best. If you are familiar with Fairmont hotels you will be disappointed. However, if you like looking for a meh place an not 4 star to 5 star then you may like this hotel.

The staff at the Fairmont a perfect choice from Benjamin at the door,Gabriel at the check in desk and Mo at Toro. The entire staff were friendly, helpful and knowledgable ! Our spacious room was on the 32 floor with a wonderful view. Amenities were great, bed comfortable, room was equipped with coffee maker and tea pot. The floor we were on could have used a sprucing up although when on elevator it stopped on lower floors which looked redecorates so not sure if floors are going through renovations. Location was perfect for shopping, visiting tourist sites. When returning to Chicago the Fairmont will be our choice!
