About the Hotel

Fairmont Chicago’s new design catapulted it to the top of hotel options in The Loop, Chicago’s business and theater district that’s home to many of the city’s cultural attractions. Past an opulent gold-hued lobby awaits a collection of guest rooms dressed in a natural color palette of cream, chocolate and mossy green highlighted by a bold floral print from Warwick Orme. Marble baths come with a separate rainfall shower and soaking tub, and for further relaxation, the spa offers couples’ soaks in a sumptuous suite.

Reviews for Fairmont Chicago Millennium Park

Excellent hotel, giant room, excellent price!

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 1 day ago

We just got back from an epic trip to Chicago - after shopping around a bit, selected the Fairmont because of its huge one-bedroom suite. Its roughly double the square footage of other area hotels. Great bed, and super spacious bathroom with a large soaking tub and lots of counter space to hold all of our toiletries. Can't beat the view of the park! Concierge Gail went above and beyond, giving us logistical help and great restaurant recommendations. Moe at the restaurant was so kind and authentic, shout out for the excellent service, even the front desk folks were sweet and efficient. We will definitely stay there again!

Enjoyable stay in Chicago at the Fairmont

This hotel is in the heart of the city and the staff are fantastic. I would like to give a big shout out to the concierge, Gail Walker who is extremely knowledgeable and helpful. Prawan Ranjit in room service demostrates true professionalism in his room service role. I highly recommend a stay at the Fairmont Chicago, Millenium Park. Views from the rooms are fantastic.

Great location and good restaurant

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 2 weeks ago

Great location and restaurant. Rooms a bit small but comfortable and quiet but no refrigerator. Staff very nice as well. Only complaint I have was housekeeping. We had coffee maker in the room but no cups. No linen bag for our clothes, tissue box holder had no tissues and only 1 bathrobe when should have 2. Water is complimentary upon check in but you have to ask for it. However for the price and location this hotel is hard to beat. No resort fee but a $25 a day "unban experience fee"

The Fairmont Remains Chicago's First Lady of Luxury

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 2 weeks ago

Ok, calm down. I know there are shinier/higher-rated properties (Langham, Peninsula...and they are remarkable), but The Fairmont never, ever disappoints. Tucked away from the Michigan Avenue mayhem, this iconic luxury hotel welcomes you with STUNNING park views, world-class service, and huge, well-appointed suites. We've stayed at Fairmonts all over the U.S., and this one always keeps us coming back. Can't think of a better way to be in the heart of the city, wrapped in luxury but still tucked away like it's a private retreat. It feels exclusive and almost like you know a secret the rest don't. Yes, the Langham has the accolades and the new factor, but it also stares directly at the Trump sign and shares the rest of the building with IBM...kinda weird. Anyway, reliability, luxury, and top-flight service make this a must for anyone breezing through the Windy City. Pro tip: join the Accor club (free) and they let you check in early (for us, like 6 hours early!).

First visit to Chicago

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 1 month ago

We decided to make our visit to Chicago in April to celebrate our wedding anniversary and chose to stay at the Fairmount Hotel at Millennium Park. This is a great hotel to stay in this beautiful city. It’s strategically situated between the Millennium Park and the downtown commercial district. The accommodations and the services were high end and top tier.
