Fairmont Chicago’s new design catapulted it to the top of hotel options in The Loop, Chicago’s business and theater district that’s home to many of the city’s cultural attractions. Past an opulent gold-hued lobby awaits a collection of guest rooms dressed in a natural color palette of cream, chocolate and mossy green highlighted by a bold floral print from Warwick Orme. Marble baths come with a separate rainfall shower and soaking tub, and for further relaxation, the spa offers couples’ soaks in a sumptuous suite.

We stayed 3 nights with my kids. The room is big and also old but well maintained. It was clean but could be better. During our stay, the staff was helpfull. Good location. I'd say the biggest disappointment is the breakfast, which is practically nonexistent. They sell you a $33 voucher that you can use at the restaurant to get the breakfast buffet. Except that I've never had such a bad breakfast—even at a two-star hotel, the food is better. So, don't take eat and go away for the breakfast.

It is all too rare so even more notable when a stranger goes out of their way to make you feel appreciated. Gail Walker, Concierge at the Fairmont Hotel in Chicago is one of those people. Every friend was once a stranger. I am delighted to have a new friend. Fairmont, Chicago, nicely done. Thank you, Gail. The Fairmont is now top of my list where to stay. I do enjoy Fairmont properties and do enjoy the perks I get with American Express I had a great trip with a friend My room was clean and the bed was comfortable. I did ask for a mini fridge which they were able to accommodate. The robe and slippers were nice. I always enjoy the fluffy towels and nice showers Service was great and the location was perfect for me The baked food at the cafe and the items I had at Toro were excellent. I did have a couple of service slips and what’s important is the hotel made everything right. I cannot expect perfection but when I had some hiccups, they made accommodations for that which I appreciate I’d especially like to say the service from Brian and Lelaina was exceptional Also you have to go see Benji at the AM cafe - he makes the best coffee drinks (almond latte here) and his energy is amazing. I will be back

First class treatment! Everyone at the Fairmont was so welcoming and accommodating. The suite was like a home away from home. Plenty of room to stretch out. The concierge service (Ms. Gail Walker) provided great suggestions of places to visit and eat (Wildberry Pancakes and Cafe & Giordano’s ) in addition she also took care of our reservations for our site seeing tours. We loved our visit making fun memories in Chicago!

We had a nice time at the Fairmont. The view from our room was beautiful. The room was quiet despite a lively Saturday night in the park and surrounding areas and several hotel events. The blackout curtains worked very well even in a lake-facing room. The room was very clean. The staff was great, particularly Megan at the front desk.
