Very pleasant stay!
It seems like this hotel was recently added to the Marriott network and figured I'd check it out. From the beginning, the staff was extremely friendly and accommodating. I was upgraded to a corner suite being a titanium member with Marriott without even requesting it, and the room was great. I called about a couple decaf Nespresso pods pretty late night and the front desk had it delivered within a minute. Shower water pressure was top notch, and super quiet at night (aside from the street noise but typical with any hotel in the middle of the city). Location is also really good, sort of in between the mag mile area and river north. Will definitely be staying here again, so glad it's part of Marriott now!

Great Stay in Newly Branded Hotel 55
I enjoyed my recent stay at Hotel 55. The prosecco and macaroons at check-in were a nice surprise! I was upgraded to room 822 which was a larger king room with a sitting area on one side and a guest nook on the other. The room featured a tub and stand-up shower in the bathroom, robes, good coffee, and full size bottles of water. I liked that the windows open slightly to let in some fresh air. This particular room was close to the elevator, so I did experience some noise from that, but otherwise it was on the quiet side of the hotel with the windows facing internal. The attached restaurant was convenient for a quick drink and bite before heading out for the evening. Plenty of restaurants, bars, etc nearby, as well as the Bally's casino. I would recommend Hotel 55 for anyone looking to stay in the River North area.

Good clean place!
Great location close to many cool places. Which also means that you are close to noise- sirens. Fortunately you will have e a super fan system you can leave on to help drown them out. Maids are super. Front desk is very nice. Lobby small but very nice. Front entrance super awkward unless they have a doorman which is totally necessary! Elevators small but very quick. Restaurant is not theirs but food and service are great - even tho mood feels dull, oddly! Prices are great.

Tidy, clean and comfortable
Great location just off the Magnificent Mile. We arrived in early and they stored our bags till room was ready. Restaurant attached is very nice and does a nice breakfast. Our room was very clean, and had all that we needed. The water bottles were a nice touch. Hotel was full on this busy weekend
