Hotel Blake

Eric at the front desk is who you need to go to when you check in! He helped me in several ways! He went above and beyond! Thanks Eric!

We booked to stay here for 4 nights at end of March. Landed at O'Hare and got the train directly from the airport to Jackson and then just a 500m walk to the hotel. Checked in and straight to explore the city. a 20 mins walk takes you to the river walk and main shopping and restaurant area. Also a short walk to the Willis Tower. The room had a very comfortable king size bed, fried, large tv, and great shower. All staff we encountered were lovely. The hotel has an on site Cafe (Meli) next door although accessible from inside the hotel. Great breakfast & brunch options at reasonable prices. Great hotel, excellent location, friendly and professional staff and comfortable clean and spacious room. Thoroughly recommended.

We stayed here when we were moving my son into his dorm at Columbia College Chicago. It was a perfect location for that purpose, but also great for sight seeing; very walkable. The staff here were very attentive and friendly. When our son became ill and we thought we might have to stay longer, the manager Emily was extremely helpful and flexible in accomodating us. The room was comfortable and nicely decorated -- loved the nod to the Printer's Row location in the decor. The bathroom was very large. I thought the bathroom lighting was very dim until I realized the mirror featured touch controls to brighten/dim the lights :) We have already made reservations for a return visit in October!

Everything else is good, but no sofa in my room, which is weird. Since there is only one chair, there isn't just not enough living space.

Had a wonderful time at Botel Blake this past weekend! Michael, Tim, Showtime (Greg) were fantastic and housekeeping was top notch!
