Almost perfect!
Perfect location, loved teas and hot chocolate daily. Rooms perfect. Only notable was ceiling vent was filthy- which was shocking how nice everything else was.

Wonderful Stay...Exceptional Service
Our stay was excellent from check in to check out. More hotels should take amenities like door opening, greeting and consierge service to the standard of the Hotel Blake. The helpfulness of the Desk Attendants was beyond reproach. The evening desk attendant was especially willing to go the extra mile for his guests. I absolutely loved the vintage ambiance of the hotel and the rooms. I picked the hotel because of this and was not disappointed. The hotel and the rooms were very clean. The hotel was quiet. The location was good. I wasn't thrilled with the rates, but obviously rates are in line with other hotels. At least you received the extra service for the money you paid. Overall, this visit to Chicago and stay at this hotel was an excellent one. Thank you Hotel Blake and its staff for being part of a great get-away trip.

Best hotel experience
Staff was friendly. Gave my friend gifts for his birthday and got a coupon for Gino's East. Room was clean and warm. Top hotel for us now.

Location unbeatable, excellent service of hotel staff and Meli Cafe waitresses.
My wife and I had a wonderful stay at the Blake Hotel in Chicago. First of all, the location is unbeatable—right in the heart of the city. We were able to walk to almost every popular spot in the Loop, which was very convenient. Our room was cozy, modern, and well-equipped. We appreciated having a small refrigerator and a microwave, which made things easier. The only suggestion we have is related to the season we visited: during the cold and snowy weather, it would have been great to have a space or rack to hang wet or sweaty clothes, gloves, and scarves. Despite that, one of the best parts of our stay was the Meli café inside the hotel. It felt like having a cozy dining room at home—no need to bundle up to go outside for breakfast. The food was delicious, and the staff was extremely friendly, attentive, and always smiling. We especially want to recognize the excellent service of Martina, Boyana, and Nikita at our tables, whose care truly enhanced our experience. We give both the hotel and the café a full 5-star rating.

Lovely Time!
My husband and I stayed on November 26th overnight to be close to the Thanksgiving Day Parade on the 27th. We were very pleased with the accommodations. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. The Crabtree and Evelyn bath amenities were lovely and appreciated. The lobby was tastefully decorated for the up and coming Christmas holidays. The staff were very pleasant and helpful. My only disappointment was that connected restaurant, Cafe' Meli was not open on Thanksgiving morning. I called the restaurant the week before to try to make a reservation for breakfast. I was told that the restaurant does not take reservations but we could just walk in first come/first serve. There was no mention then that the restaurant would be closed on Thanksgiving morning. Given all the people in the area for the Thanksgiving Parade, that was a missed opportunity on their part. Luckily, Cafe Deko down the block on Dearborn was open. It is such a delightful little establishment which serves coffees, teas, pastries and sandwiches. The Art Deco and Victorian era decor is elegant. Overall, it was a wonderful stay!
