Amazing stay at Four Seasons Chicago

This was our first stay at a FS property and we were massively impressed by the staff, the room, cleanliness and the food. Really everything was amazing. They really live up to the ethos of luxury and service as expected for the price point for this type of property.

Everything was excellent during my visit! The food has improved significantly compared to six months ago. They truly listened to my previous feedback, and the overall experience was outstanding. I have not more to say about the food, the room was nice and clean

Beautiful hotel in prime location. What truly makes this place shine is the staff - from start to finish, everyone we encountered was welcoming, professional, and seemed happy to be there. Four Seasons Chicago did not disappoint. We can’t wait to return.

Incredible stay!

Incredible stay at the Four Seasons Chicago! Stayed here for 4 nights with my family. We loved our stay here to celebrate various milestones and the team did a wonderful job to really make our stay special and tailored (even for kids). Beautiful views of the lake and city in the upgraded rooms. The most gracious service & housekeeping, most delicious dessert, and lovely rooms! Highly recommend the Lakeside suite - the views are incredible. We were choosing between here and the Ritz and were glad to select this property although I usually stay in Marriott properties. The pool is beautiful yet was quite busy likely due to spring break. Hopefully will be able to come back to stay here when back in Chicago.

Not a big fan any longer

We have stayed at the Four Seasons in Maui and were looking forward to a second stay in Chicago. This stay really tarnished my opinion of Four Seasons. We don't expect perfection but a certain level of service is to be expected. Our room on check in was dusty and a bit dirty. We mentioned this when asked on our way out when passing the front desk and they were prompt to send someone to the room to clean it for us. They did dust the room but finger prints that were on the mirror when we checked in were still present, so the room was not fully cleaned even the second time. The housekeeping manager did send wine and snacks to the room with a note of apology, which was an appropriate way to respond. We also have several bad experiences in the restaurant, which led me to finally raise the issue with the manager. One morning the service was so slow we had to move an appointment we had scheduled so not to be late. We did not request an expedited dining experience but the wait was nonetheless longer than it should have been. The next morning, I ordered a small take out item and it took nearly 15 minutes to receive the order. The next day I had breakfast again received my order quite quickly but never saw the server again. The manager of the restaurant came by and asked if I needed anything and I said I needed to place a to go order. At least 10 minutes went by before I finally stood up to track down my server. I placed the to go order and received a quick apology from the server with the comments, "sorry, it was not my fault". I asked to talk to the manager on duty and relayed my experiences to him. He asked if I was staying another night and if we had dinner plans. I told him we did have dinner plans and told him where. He apologized and that was that. No follow up whatsoever. I did tell the manager this experience tarnished our opinion of Four Seasons, which is really unfortunate. His lack of follow up and follow through is telling.
