I stayed at the Hotel Lincoln during the Air and Water Show weekend. While the manager was helpful during my Friday check-in, subsequent events raised serious concerns regarding safety, privacy, and professionalism. On Saturday, I returned to my room to find flowers had been placed inside, despite having a "Do Not Disturb" (DND) sign clearly displayed on the door. Additionally, I discovered insects in my bed that appeared to be bed bugs. When I reported these issues to the front desk, the agents showed little concern. However, the manager intervened, confirmed the presence of insects, and relocated me to a new room. He also issued a refund for my stay and promised to investigate the unauthorized entry. The management later informed me that an inspection found no bed bugs. Regarding the privacy breach, I was told the employee entered because the flowers allegedly blocked their view of the DND sign. I find this explanation unacceptable, as the sign was placed directly on the door handle. Furthermore, entering a guest's room without permission to deliver an item, rather than sending a text notification or requesting authorization, is a severe violation of privacy. As a property under the Hyatt brand, which values guest privacy, the failure to respect a DND sign is deeply concerning and presents a significant security risk, particularly for solo travelers.

Great location and the dinner at 202 was unbelievably delicious. The room unfortunately wasn’t up to par. Peeling wallpaper with noticeable mold behind it and mold in grout a chalk. AC wall unit loud and dirty. I’ve stayed here many times and it was the first time I was disappointed. Oh a barn door for the bathroom might be the dumbest idea anyone has ever had.

I contacted the front desk to arrange a surprise for two sisters checking in later that day. Mr. Venegas, front desk manager, accompanied my wish beyond expectation. They were ecstatic and loved the hotel. Now I can't wait to visit when I get to Chicago!

This is a darling hotel located next to beautiful Lincoln Park. So many walkable restaurants and things to do. I strolled through the zoo and watched the air show. Room was very clean and comfortable, i had a beautiful biew of the lake and park. the rooftop bar was fun, and the baked mozerella with harissa and pesto was 10/10. delicious. Hallways were a bit tired, and I had to slam my door to make it shut, but my stay was great, I would go back again.

Hotel is outdated and poorly renovated. Staff is good but it is obvious you need to be a rewards member to get better treatment. We stayed at the Lincoln because it was walking distance (7 mins) to the concert venue. We were offered an ada room at check in. While taking a shower, I sat down on bench to wash my hair. As soon as my weight was on it, it ripped off the wall sending me to the ground. Luckily, I am able bodied and only had a few cuts and bruises. I went to talk to the front desk after being unable to figure out how to call from the room! Front desk offered someone to fix it while we were at our concert and $100 off the price of the room. We got back to the room and the bathroom looked exactly the same. No further info was given. I went down in the morning and they said someone would go in while we were at breakfast. We got back to the room and the bathroom looked exactly the same. We couldn't use the shower after it came off the wall and the tile came off ithe night before. When I checked out, there was no mention of the situation. There was no fridge or microwave in the room. I called 48 hours prior and was told that there are fridges in the room. I had to make my own out of the ice bucket. I am pretty disappointed!
