Hyatt Regency Chicago

Pleasantly surprised by the attentive and friendly staff. From check in to housekeeping to the hotel staff, each person I encountered took extra care to say hello and made sure my needs were met. The rooms are nice and clean. The towels are a little thin but the bed is comfortable and the design room created a nice vibe after a day of being in conference sessions. The new of the river walk is a must!

Hyatt Regency Chicago is the best hotel to stay at when visiting Chicago. The hotel is centrally located and the amenities are first class. I've stayed a few times and always have a great time. I highly recommend going to breakfast in the morning at the hotel.

We recently stayed at both Hyatt Regency and the Intercontinental in downtown Chicago. For our family travel needs, HR was a much better fit. For the location, the two hotels are very close but HR is right next to the river and closer to Millennium Park. HR has larger rooms (we stayed in standard suites both times), much better breakfast, and a lounge which is very helpful when you travel with young kids. The staff was much more helpful at HR too. The only thing we liked better at the IC was that it has a pool. Overall, I would definitely recommend Hyatt Regency over the InterContinental for families visiting Chicago.

The location of this Hyatt is absolutely perfect for exploring Chicago. The hotel itself feels like a real flagship hotel for the Hyatt brand. The breakfast has gotten better and better. I can say the same for the service. this property truly honors the Hyatt benefits. As a globalist, I was excited to get an upgraded room and full breakfast along with one of the few remaining US Regency lounges still operating. I hope more of the Regency lounges open back up because they make a difference. I’m also Titanium with Marriott and I’m finding many of their properties in the US to have lounges. I believe this Hyatt is the largest hotel by rooms in Chicago and with such a large staff, management does a really good job keeping train on track. The last couple years I’ve had over 200 nights a year in hotels and I can say this one is highly recommended!
