Hyatt Regency Chicago

The hotel is welcoming, clean, and the room is spacious. The door staff are amazingly professional although the weather is blazing hot.

Excellent location for walking and accessing much of what Chicago has to offer! Walking distance to Navy Pier, Chicago Riverwalk, River cruises, Nederlander Theater, the "Bean" in Millennium Park, the Magnificent Mile, and tons of local and unique restaurants. The area was well-lit and felt very safe. The Hyatt Regency on Wacker Blvd was an excellent choice in comfort and location! Highly recommend

From the check-in process, through my 8 night stay, to the check out process - would not have any notes. The check in process was smooth and when I had issues or concerns with my stay, did not encounter any negative feedback. Everything was met with an attitude of ‘let’s make it right’ and that just made staying here a pleasant experience. The food at the hotel was delicious. Breakfast was served quickly and the staff was upbeat and helped wake us up for the long days ahead (coffee mug was always full). The restaurants had professional staff and food was brought out quickly. Overall - one of the most memorable trips I’ve been on and 95% is just due to how well the hotel staff treated me and the overall experience.

The hotel was in a nice location for kids - we loved millennium park and easy access to the river. There were several surprising issues during our stay. We used a suite upgrade and the room had a king bed but no good option for a third person - the hotel doesn’t offer rollaways and the narrow couch doesn’t fold out. Valet was oddly difficult to find, requires us to go in person to get our car even though there is apparently a text system (when we texted it said it was a high volume time so we needed to go in person, though we texted early in the morning and around 2pm and no one else was getting their cars at that time - that was a particularly annoying process given the nearly $100 charge for parking. And lastly lost and found has been frustrating - we left behind an item that has tracking and we can see it still in the hotel but lost and found has been unresponsive.

Had an amazing stay at the Hyatt Regency, we were on the 26th floor overlooking the Chicago river in a beautiful suite, we were walking distance to everything we wanted to see. Would definitely stay here when we return to Chicago.
