Great stay again in 2026 for a night. The club amenities have been downgraded since March so disappointment with one hot food item at night. They used to have a soup and hot food. Dessert not brought out until like 8 pm. Used to be out at opening 530. Room awesome with fab view. Location is the best.

Me and my wife stayed in the hotel - room 3203- for our wedding annivesary from 7-16 to 7-19-2026. After driving ovr 12 hours from Washigton DC we drove into the chotic hotel entrance and parked our car only to check in, put our bags in th room and return back to move our car to a pre booked garage nearby. It was around 7PM on the 16th of July. There was abolutely no proper order at the Valet or entrance. It was chaotic. We returned after about 20 minutes and tried to drive our car out . The place waa very busy and we we exemely caustious when backing up as so many cars re behind us. All of a sudden a well dressed man in a light colored suit ( an African American person, if I may) and treated us very rudely. he was shouting at us as if we were comitting a cardinal sin. My wife was totally shaken up the way he was shouting at us , like chop chop, put the gear into Drive and fo very loud and rudely. I am sure he was some type of a supervisor or a manager from the Valed company. I have been a senior manager with many luxury hotels in DC like Starwood, Hilton and Kimpton and has never seen such rude behavior from a Valet. This gentlemn need to be educated that he is in the " Hospitality Business" and that guests like us make sure he has job only becuae of guests like us. Had it been in washington DC, this guy would be immediately fired. Now about the hotel. Despite our request for an anniversary visit for a good room, we were given just a mediorcre room facing a bunch of ugly building. Not even a glass of shampaign even though we paid a prenmium price for 3 nights. The drain opner in the bathroom tub was broken and lying on the side. At the check out, the cerk gave me an incorrect bill , about $ 75 more than the correct amount. After pointing out the error she gave us a reduced bill. Wonder ho wmany hudndreds of unsuspecting guets get overcharged like this. Shame! The only reason we opted for this hotel was the " pet free" thing. Will never ever stay with Hyatt Regency again. The Valet need to be educated to offer some basic curtesy to paying guest without who he and the hotel staff will have no jobs. On the plus side, HK and Check in staff were gret.

great location across street from Riverwalk. a bit smoky due to the Canada wildfires but not in anyone's control. Room was perfect size with a sitting area and nice television. not one bit of noise during the evening. will return

I’ve stayed in many large cities and I think this is the quietest room I’ve ever stayed in. We were only on the 8th floor, but facing a side street, so maybe that helped, but I heard no street noise in the night and slept great. The room was spacious for Chicago and very clean and seemed newly remodeled. my only complaint about this hotel is that you have to go up the escalator to find the front desk to check in, which is a little confusing at first and that there is no Diet Coke in the market. They only have Pepsi, which I think is crazy.
