Hyatt Regency Chicago

This is an outstanding hotel. Everything works efficiently. The staff is very welcoming and responsive. For example, when I discovered that I forgot shaving cream the front desk immediately sent me a reply.

Clean rooms , great location, friendly staff, outstanding views, lead you a great breakfast spot and service under the direction of Tameka.

Chicago Hyatt Regency was a great hotel, very big, gave me vegas casino hotel vibes, very lively even at night! Check in was fast, efficient, and the staff was knowledgeable and provided information succinctly. My personal reservation included breakfast at the lobby restaurant which was quite good, great selection of food, with omelet station as well as lots of berries which went well with my oatmeal and yogurt. I also had a credit nightly after 5pm to use for the bar, which was nice for pregaming before going out with friends. Parking is valet, which was a bit expensive nightly, you should confirm prices, but self-parking is not that convenient, you would have to walk a few minutes and also I recall there is no in-and-out privileges with self-parking, so you would be more restricted. Valet parking, although more expensive, allows convenient in-and-out privileges. The hotel rooms were comfortable, well equipped, clean, and things were working in order. I will say that the shower was not as nice as I had hoped for the level of hotel that I expected based on the lobby/check-in desk, and the descriptions of other clients. I would hope the showers were more luxurious with dual shower head. Overall, very good experience, I believe I would give it 4.8 STARS if I could, but since it left some to be desired, albeit small, I will give it 4 STARS for now. would definitely stay there again if I visit, but I compare most of my hotel stays with the Fairmont which is still my favorite hotel overall. Things to aspire to!

Overall great location, great experience. We enjoyed the breakfast, the club and the hotel. It was easy to walk to local places and the staff were wonderful.

My family and I stayed at the Hyatt Regency in downtown Chicago over Labor Day weekend. We checked in late (after 10pm), but the staff was still available, cheery, and very helpful. They even let us borrow an A/V cable so we could hook our laptop up to the TV and watch Netflix. The hotel room was exquisite - beautiful view, spacious, clean, and I will forever miss the shower. Breakfast was amazing, and it was safe and secure. I highly recommend it!
