Hyatt Regency Chicago

I used to live in Chicago but am on the west coast now. But when we are in town visiting always try to stay at Hyatt Regency downtown. We like the atmosphere and location to the Bean, Michigan avenue, Navy pier and the theaters. Very comfortable quiet rooms. There is a decent gym with nice views of the river. Only downside no pool

Love this location for a Chicago trip. Having restaurants inside is really convenient and the food is great! Rooms are clean and staff is friendly. Will definitely be back many more times.

This hotel is located close to the Riverwalk, and in easy walking distance of the theater district, Millennium Park, River tours, And so many other things. The location that I was able to squeeze in some sightseeing during my business trip. My room was clean and comfortable with a view of the river (I was in the west tower). the bed was more comfortable than most places I have stayed. My favorite of the on-site restaurants was Stetson’s steakhouse, which also had amazing sushi. nearby were a multitude of restaurants to choose from so I never had to go to the same place twice. I took advantage of Hyatt’s menu of available room service items and borrowed a yoga mat to stretch after all that walking. I found the location of the check-in desk confusing on the first day - It’s upstairs. Luckily they have staff at the entrance directing people. There was construction outside, which was noisy walking by, but I could barely hear it in my room even though I was directly over overhead (9th floor) I would stay here again.

I stayed here for work. The room was lovely and very clean. It had everything I needed, refrigerator included! Bed was just right and offered a good night’s sleep. Location was excellent - close to loop shopping, restaurants and navy pier. Would pick to stay here again.

Fantastic view from our room overlooking the river & pier (room 2623 in the West Tower). And we had a nice view of the fireworks show at the pier!
