Kinzie Hotel

**The Kinzie Hotel** is a fantastic base for exploring Chicago. The location is absolutely perfect—right downtown and within short walking distance to all the major tourist attractions, as well as a great neighborhood full of restaurants and nightlife. The rooms are spacious, filled with natural light, and feature incredibly comfortable beds. The bathroom is also very large, offering plenty of counter space and shelf room for your toiletries. It comes well-stocked with all the essentials you need, like soap and body wash. Housekeeping does a great job maintaining a good level of cleanliness daily. The front desk is open 24/7, and the staff are extremely cordial, welcoming, and helpful throughout your stay. As for the extras: * **The Breakfast:** A standard continental breakfast. It’s not exceptional, but it is certainly decent and a convenient way to start the day. * **The Happy Hour:** A great touch! The hotel offers a complimentary afternoon happy hour, which is a lovely perk after a long day of sightseeing. Overall, it offers an excellent value-for-money ratio. I would definitely stay here again!

The price was good. The location was good. The room was good. Comfortable bed, decent Wi-Fi, good water pressure, decent pillows, clean. Staff was friendly. They have a happy hour where you can get a couple of glasses of wine or beer and a handful of snacks which was cool. What was most disappointing was the breakfast. It was packed. Not enough space to eat there. Not much to choose from. I'd stay there again, but I'd plan to go out to eat somewhere for breakfast.

Johnny was absolutely amazing and so was the Asian lady and the African American man at the front desk and the Latina lady in the lounge on 6. I apologize that I do not remember their names. Having a room to be able to gather in was amazing since we had 3 couples traveling together.

Great hotel, comfy, all staff were very professional and helpful, and very good proce for what you get. Rooms are clean, big, everything you need, and you also get complimentary breakfast and happy hour drinks daily. Just can't ask for more. Location was also excellent, walking distance (15 - 30 min max) to all main tourist attractions, and great restaurants and bars nearby. Also, Johnny, James, José and all the rest of the employees were very kind and professional. Will definitely recommend!
