A modern, stylish sanctuary in an architecturally rich town, the glass-walled Kinzie Hotel extends to its guests River North’s impeccable taste for what’s culturally relevant. The design is clean-lined, the art is eclectic and the inspiration derives from adventurous settler and trader John Kinzie. This Preferred Hotels & Resorts property – part of the Preferred Hotel Group – is a city fixture for the business traveler, couple or group looking for both escape and arrival.

10/10 experience :) the Kinzie makes you feel like home. Their staff is fantastic, especially Lani at the front desk and Johnny from luggage. The whole team takes care of anything you need, and yes, there is a chat feature where you can chat live with someone from the front desk if you need something :) plus free breakfast, a gym, clean, and a great location. Thank y’all for a great stay!

When I first came to Kinzie Hotel, I was greeted by James at the front desk. He was so welcoming and he made me feel right at home. He was very helpful especially helping me with local businesses such as SpotHero. It would’ve cost a fortune to park my rental car at the Convention Center each day but but he suggested SpotHero for parking around the city and I saved an exorbitant amount of money to park my car. He was also very helpful with different dining places and bars to attend in the evening. He was very knowledgeable about everything that was going on in the hotel as well and very helpful! It was so nice to come in and see his smiling face greeting me after a long 13 hour day of work. I was very thankful for him as he made my work week special! Thanks James, you’re the best!

The professionalism and the warm reception that we got from Mickey at the front desk was just the beginning of what was a terrific hospitality experience. Mickey's smile made us feel like we were home just within the first 5 minutes of arrival. The room was exactly as we expected it to be... warm, comfortable, and conducive to great slumber. There are not enough stars to give for this hotel.

Everything was great, I love the breakfast sandwiches. Jonny was very helpful! He opened a room for us and helped load up our luggage.

The hotel is clean and the rooms are nice enough, but this is one of the nosiest places I've ever stayed. Paired with the poor quality bed, it was nearly impossible to sleep. There is loud traffic noise and honking, sirens, and live music from bars nearby all night on week nights.
