Exceptional "Staycation"
We just returned from a fabulous 24hr staycation at the Langham Chicago. We stayed in an executive club-level room. The entire experience was an "11" out of 10! Ambiance, service, food, room, etc. were exceptional. If you have the opportunity, please stay at the Langham and for sure stay on the club level if you can (totally worth the extra cost).

Foul Odor from Plumbing in 1118
While the staff was professional and friendly and the location is fine, I cannot say we had a good experience or will ever be back. Gave us a key to room 1120, and when it would not work told us we were actually supposed to have room 1118 and brought us new keys. Room 1118 had a foul odor emanating from the plumbing which was awful and a view of the parking lot (this is a Junior Suite). Didn’t make up our room on Friday even after we specifically requested. We have previously stayed at Four Seasons Chicago and The Ritz. This is a very distant third.

This is a beautiful hotel to stay at very clean and the staff is wonderful. Every time we come to Chicago. This is the only place we stay at.

Luxury hotel with fabulous saunas and amenities. We greatly enjoyed our stay here. From check in to checkout everything was wonderful!

Top notch
This is truly a luxury special hotel. We stayed here 3 nights at the end of a month trip on the east coast and Midwest. We are both Hyatt and Marriott top elite members and after 3 ½ weeks of staying at these brand hotels and barely getting a clean room much less a friendly welcome for our loyalty we were so overwhelmed by the beautiful Langham and friendly staff. Even before we arrived, the concierge team helped us with making recommendations and reservations for jazz clubs and restaurants. They continued to follow up to make sure we taken care of. Rooms were absolutely beautiful and there are actually bathtubs in the rooms. A very big deal for me. The spa is great too. Mostly, it was so nice to have friendly staff who actually seem like they enjoy where they work and proud of where they work. Truly a wonderful way to end a trip. We will stay here again when we return to Chicago.
