Reviews for Loews Chicago O'Hare

Positive Experience

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 2 weeks ago

I stayed at this hotel June 2025 1 nite & will add it to my list of places I would stay again! Very clean. Location was convenient and we were only in for 1 night. We took an Uber downtown for shopping and dinner. We also tried the bar/restaurant at the hotel for desert and a cocktail as well as for breakfast… perfect. The eggs Benedict was awesome! All of the staff we came in contact with were professional.

Loews O'Happy

A trip to Chicago is always welcomed by HSH, but a trip to Chicago when you don’t have to drive downtown is extremely welcomed by HSH. Enter the Loews Chicago O’Hare Hotel. Easily the best O’Hare airport hotel and one of my top 3 airport hotels in the country. It’s clean, convenient, and a delight to travel to. They offer in room dining, lots of event space, and of course - a shuttle to/from the airport. Pros: - Very large, spacious rooms - Comfortable bed (so comfortable, I did not want to get out) - In the shower, they give you a bar of soap AND body wash. This is a rare occurrence to have two options in any hotel shower! - Many areas and hooks to hang clothes - Multiple mirrors Cons: - I personally did not enjoy the circular bathroom sink but this is a stretch for a con Recommendations: - None, everything was great!

Great park and fly hotel option

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 5 months ago

Fantastic hotel for park and fly. Room was clean and comfortable. Hotel staff were all very friendly. There are several close restaurants. (Within walking distance) Parking is in covered garage. Airport shuttle is every 15 minutes. I would 100% stay here again.

3 Words- Stay Somewhere Else-Overpriced basic amenities in an overcrowded hotel with little "hospitality".

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 5 months ago

Rooms are nothing special, soundproofing between rooms is bad, room facilities are not user friendly- more style over substance. Very overpriced amenities! Some specific complaints- parking is $44 per night- the most expensive of all the hotels around the airport. Biggest problem is the parking is shared with restaurant guests and people that drive in for conferences so the lot is very full. A hotel guest paying this much should have some guarantee that there will be spaces available and shouldn't have to drive around and around waiting for someone to leave. Parking garage should be enclosed if not heated for this high price but instead it is cold, dark and cramped. Staff was basically apathetic- you walk by staff all day and not one would say hello, good morning- not one employee gave a basic level of "hospitality". To get high speed internet at a hotel built for business conferences you have to pay an extra $12.50 per day- again the most expensive of all the surrounding hotels. Poor room layout- only 1 small table next to two beds - table had a lamp, a phone and a clock radio ( what is this 1988?). Seriously what modern business hotel provides a clock radio and a bible but can't provide USB-C ports? There should be a table for each bed with sufficient outlets, It has been over 5 years since the standard for most devices switched from USB to USB-C how long should it take for an expensive business hotel in a large city to catch up? Bathroom was ok except you get to listen to your neighbors in their bathroom because walls are so thin and vents are connected. Vanity and sink is the smallest I've ever seen in a hotel. Literally less than 18 inches deep with a bowl sink taking up most of the space. Not even 1 bottle of complementary water in the room- they expect you to pay $8 for a bottle of water! There are Hiltons and Marriotts on the same street with similar rooms and amenities and cheaper prices for everything. Save your money and stay there. One more thing- when I arrived, they gave me a note that they would be changing the locks in the rooms and they would be entering my room twice to do this. Why weren't guests made aware of this before arriving so we could decide if that would be too much of an inconvenience and stay somewhere else? Why isn't this type of maintenance done between guests and not when the rooms are occupied? Why weren't guests given a discount for the inconvenience? This hotel needs to go back to hospitality school and take the entry level course because they don't even have the basics right.

Nice Stay

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 5 months ago

Nice hotel close to the Convention Center, Rosemont Theater and restaurants. Jazz shows held on site from time to time. We stayed there for New Year's Eve to attend the jazz show and the experience was great. With the jazz show located in the hotel in was extremely convenient. We booked the 1-bedroom suite which was very comfortable and had a powder room as well as a full bathroom. Very nice view and well appointed. The one drawback is that the shower does not have a door. So, it is a little cool while taking a shower. Parking is right next door (self-park and valet) so the convenience is great. Price was reasonable.
