I had the pleasure of staying at the Nobu with my sister and my BFF of 50 plus years. It was a relaxing girls trip Staycation. Didn't know what to expect since it was our 1st time at Nobu. We'll it was a wonderful experience from the time we exited our vehicle and Gino took all our baggage and gave us a huge warm welcome!! After entering our room, we appreciated the amenities, fully stocked fridge, modern coffee maker, etc. Thanks to Ms. Emily for the card, wine and chocolates. Later we met Que Dilwoth from sales who was so attentive and happily ready to make sure all was well and that our stay was the best possible. She gave us her card if we needed her assistance. We went to the rooftop for drinks and food and it was spectacular!!. The wagu burger was our favorite bite. The weather was perfect and our server Kevin was great!. We also enjoyed the warm pool, serene atmosphere and steam room. At first the steam room wasn't working but we got it to work somewhat better. Last, but not least important was the bed. My mattress was perfect and so were the pillows!! In fact I checked the tag, will be ordering pillows. The walls are solid, sound proof. I love that others can shower and you can sleep. Never experienced that before, It was great!! Overall our stay at Nobu Hotel was more than expected. It's a clean, modern upscale atmosphere with excellent staff and services. I do plan to return in the future. Thank you Jennett

The staff was professional and friendly. also very accommodating, willing to go above and beyond. The rooms were clean and spacious, very little sound from the halls. We truly enjoyed our stay.

First and foremost, Nobu Hotel Chicago is not a 5-star hotel. There is no lobby, no spa and you have to take an elevator to use the restroom. No doubt, this place was built primarily for the restaurant that seats 300 and secondarily the hotel. We stayed in the Saki suite, the second biggest suite. It was very nice with an oversized living area and half bath. Bed is very comfy and bathroom had a double sink and flat iron. Downside: No balcony. The mini bar was set up like a tiny convenience store with bottles of liquor, array of snacks and stocked frig. However, the only thing complimentary were two ordinary bottles of water, one which was needed for the Nespresso machine, not even with their logo. The lower level like the rest of the hotel is very dark and has the gym, pool area (lounge chairs but not a single chair or table) and very strange "men's spa" and "ladie's spa" which has a bathroom, shower, steam room (that hardly works) and twin sinks. When more than two people are inside, it's very uncomfortable. Housekeeping service is mediocre at best, we never received turndown service either night even when I confronted the Director of Rooms. The housekeepers are totally disengaged and most likely because the GM, Robert Prohaska, is hands-off except for writing comments on TA and Google. We were here for a wedding and booked many rooms. Yet, I did not receive a welcome card from him nor did the wedding party. And when I confronted one of the managers over service issues, he never reached out. So please, do not respond to this review. Overall, this is a business hotel with its convenient West Loop location and close to the Fulton Market district. There is a rooftop bar that opens at 5:00PM but again, the star of the show is the restaurant. And one last note, valet is $90 per night and operated through a third-party service. They too are disengaged with employees that don't show up so plan on waiting 20-30 minutes for your car.

We have wanted to try Nobu hotels for a while now. Nobu Chicago was a great first time experience! Rooms, food and service were amazing. So glad we chose to stay there. The bonus is the area that is located in. Such a walkable area. Great shops and restaurants close by. Anthony and the whole team at Chicago Nobu made our stay so relaxing. Remember us by name and met any need we had immediately. Definitely will stay there again.

The location is incredible, so many good restaurants and shops within walking distance. The rooms are perfect, the restaurant even better, especially the weekend brunch. Anthony and others at the front desk are very helpful, courteous, and professional. Our favorite Chicago hotel!
