We were here for our niece’s wedding. It was a good location to stay for the wedding and lots of restaurants and shops nearby. The hotel staff are very friendly and helpful. It was nice but not as luxurious as I would expect for the price I paid. It was a large room for Chicago. They did provide umbrellas in the rooms which was nice for the rainy day we had. But no refrigerator in the room for the leftovers we brought back from the restaurant we ate at. Small lobby so no good place for the family to hang out together.

Great hotel! The staff is excellent and the decor makes you feel zen. Craig who is in the front is a very helpful staff member

In Chicago for a wedding, stayed for four nights. Had a superb experience! Great happening location, also really liked the gym. A special shout out to the doorman Craig— he was very polite, enthusiastic, and helpful every day. I hope Nobu management sees this— the man deserves a pay rise!

The Nobu is a beautiful hotel in a bustling location - excellent access to the pink/green lines, right around the corner from some exceptional ice cream, and many restaurant options. The staff are attentive and polite. The pool is more of a photo op than an actual place to swim or soak. Pop down there if you'd like to pose in front of a curtain of used retainers. The best thing about the room is the bathroom. Wonderful hot water pressure in the shower. But there are too many other issues for us to ever return: no cold water from any of the restroom taps, mattress is extremely soft (you will sink into a crater), and worst of all, our air conditioning did not work. For a brief trip, it's not worth the hassle of trying to get someone up to fix it, or to have to re-pack and maybe move rooms, but it made for uncomfortable nights. All of these issues suggest that there is little attention to room maintenance/turnover between guests. We were not expecting to be overwhelmed with luxury or anything, but for this price point, we did expect our stay to be at least be easy, pleasant, and functional. Alas, no dice.
