Wonderful and well-appointed comfortable room. Hotel was quiet and the restaurant was awesome. Great service, delicious food and a very upbeat atmosphere and my server Daniel, was simply the best. I would highly recommend staying at this hotel!

This was our second stay at the Radisson Blu Aqua this year, and both experiences were outstanding. The guest rooms were exceptionally comfortable, the hotel amenities perfectly suited the needs of our family, and every team member we encountered demonstrated the highest level of professionalism and hospitality. We would like to express our sincere appreciation to Tara in management, Hassan and Fadl in guest services, and Paul and Brie in the FireLake Grill House for their exemplary service and dedication to guest satisfaction. Their commitment to excellence truly elevated our stay. We look forward to returning to the Radisson Blu Aqua in June ‘26 for our next visit to Chicago.

The lobby area is nice and seems to be where they put all their money. Rooms beds feel like they came from motel 6, a lot of marks on curtain, walls, and misc. damage of that nature both in rooms and elevators. Overall felt like it was nice from a distance but unkept close up. Also dumbest bathroom design if you’re staying with a friend or want to maintain any sort of illusions with your partner. The sliding door has a very large gap at bottom and does not close, leave maybe a three inch gap open. Toilet it sort of separate but is ultimately another sliding door that offers privacy visually but not audibly if your picking up what I’m putting down. Also the balcony door was behind a desk, like they were trying to hide it, and maybe for good reason cause there’s zero furniture out there and a slight downward slope which was a little unsettling. My biggest issue was the parking garage, that would receive a resounding 1 star. Zero signage of where to go, dead ends, how to go up or down, etc. Kept finding myself at a dead end where I’d have to do a 10 point turn to turn around just to find myself at a new dead end. A lot of random equipment, trash, miscellaneous items taking up spots and most open ones were reserved, and again, no signage of where guests should park. Some areas were fully unlit which didn’t feel safe. And all this luxury parking for $63 over night. Once you find a spot and then find your way to an elevator you have to go on another journey to find your way to the hotel lobby. There was a sign when you first got out of the elevator pointing to the left or right, of which the doors to the right were closed and looked inaccessible, and the left was unclear where to go. It certainly doesn’t sound like it but I’m not a hard person to please, but the flaws at this place for the price were surprising.

I had never stayed at a Radisson property before and was pleasantly surprised by my experience at the Radisson Blu Aqua in Chicago. From the moment I arrived, the level of service was outstanding. The bell staff and front desk team were exceptionally friendly and accommodating, making me feel like a valued guest from start to finish. Honestly, I don’t always receive that level of attention even at some Marriott or Hilton properties where I am a Diamond or Platinum Guest. My room was beautiful, spacious, modern, and sophisticated with a sleek, contemporary design. The black and shiny finishes throughout gave it a stylish, upscale feel. I especially appreciated the private patio, although the door was locked for safety due to high winds on the upper floors, which is understandable. The bathroom was excellent, and the in-room mini bar was a nice convenience. The hotel features impressive amenities, including a lap pool, and the on-site restaurant and bar were both very good. Overall, the Radisson Blu Aqua exceeded my expectations in every way. It combines style, comfort, and top-notch service. I would absolutely stay here again on my next visit to Chicago.

Room was large with a lot of windows. Bed was comfortable. Elevators worked well. Close enough to all Chicago has to offer.
