The Royal Sonesta Chicago River North

Special shout out to Spiro! His hospitality was excellent from day 1. He assisted with arrangements to the airport, I truly appreciate that. The stay was wonderful, no disturbances at all. The front desk staff gave me a warm welcome and provided with toothpaste and water bottles upon entry. The valet staff were also pleasant and gave me food recommendations. Overall, I give this stay a 10/10 and that’s not including the convenient location! Easy to walk around, short distances to magnificent mile, and local eateries. Thank you Royal Sonesta! I’ll be back :)

My hotel experience was fabulous. I was in town for a conference and the conference was a 5 minute walk from the Royal Sonesta Downtown Chicago - hotel is in a fantastic location. The room was spacious, with a cafe table where I could work during downtime. The cleaning staff resupplied the room with extra coffee when they observed I had used it all - including the decaf. I had an absolutely fabulous view of the river! I also ate in the hotel restaurant several times - also very good. When I arrived after a full day of travel, I had a late lunch. It was so good that I ended up eating lunch there again as well as breakfast one day. Flavorful, high quality ingredients. Shout-out to Jesse, Rachel, and the staff at the Sonesta downtown. I'll be back!

Had a lovely week in chicago. The hotel was nice and clean. We really enjoyed that Mr Spiro greeted us at the front door, all the time, helping us with all our needs, and always in a great mood that made out day.

The Royal Sonesta Chicago River North is a lovely hotel but what makes it my home away from home is its people. Each month I stay at the hotel for a week at a time. I’m always met with the friendliest hellos, warm smiles, a desire to anticipate my needs, and staff who know me by name. I’d like to particularly shout out Spiro. He is the unofficial chair of the welcoming party! I appreciate his amazing energy and his ability to make you feel seen and at home. I appreciate all that the entire team does to support my visit!

Great customer service all around. We appreciate the personal touches acknowledging my husband’s birthday - balloon, chocolates, wine and handwritten card from the front desk staff! Most importantly, the room was clean and accommodating with amazing views!!! Special shoutouts to Carl for valet and helping us get settled in our room; Gabby for her friendliness and recommendations; and Spiro for his amazing insight to local restaurants and attractions that were spot on, contributing to us having an amazing time!
