The Royal Sonesta Chicago River North

We enjoyed a wonderful stay at the Royal Sonesta River North, which is located a short distance from all the best sights. We walked everywhere, but the staff is happy to help if you need transportation. The property is hip, nicely decorated, and offers a fitness center and beautiful roof-top deck. You can enjoy a hot cup of regular coffee or tea each morning in the lobby/common room, where you can chill on the comfy chairs or warm up in front of the fire place. We were lucky enough to get a spa suite, which has a jacuzzi, sitting area, coffee pot/pods, fridge, and floor to ceiling windows that provide an amazing view of the city's diverse architecture! Every member of the staff catered to our needs and made us feel welcome. The culture of excellent, friendly, customer service is apparent and is exemplified by Antoine, who gave us a “wow” customer experience! He was genuinely interested in helping us enjoy the property and Chicago, a truly great city! He also gave us some great tips on places to go and to eat. We appreciate all of it! Everything and everyone at this hotel was amazing! The hotel is clean and nicely decorated. Our room was beautiful and clean. The bar team was friendly and the drinks were delicious. Top of the crew was Antwonne, always going the extra mile to help clients. I even witnessed him walking two guests to a local attraction to help keep them safe. All with a smile. We will be back again!!

Antwonne at the Royal Sonesta River North is truly the best! He handled a safety concern for us right away, took it seriously, and made sure we were comfortable so we could actually relax and enjoy our trip. On top of that, he never let us lift a finger—whether it was car doors, luggage, or anything else, he had it covered. We love Antwonne and hope his manager gives him the recognition and incentives he deserves for going above and beyond!
