Royal Service
We came for a short trip in Chicago after visiting family in Wisconsin and thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Royal Sonesta. Dean was very helpful in bringing all our luggage up and gave great recommendations for places to visit during our stay. The room was very clean and location was close in proximity to many of the major attractions. The staff was very attentive, especially Shaunda, who went above and beyond to make sure we needed everything. Highly recommend!

Hotel is awesome and Spiro was the highlight
Spiro the doorman made us feel right at home as soon as we arrived. He had incredible energy and was beyond kind and helpful with suggests of where to go. We saw so much of the city while visiting (shed aquarium, cubs game, art museum, top of Hancock, architectural boat tour)… and when I asked my 2 daughters their highlight they said “Spiro giving us a goodie bag when we arrived!” We will definitely be back again and hope to stay at Sonesta - the hotel was awesome, great location.. walked to most spots and right next to the EL to get to cubs game - but the main reason is Spiro.

A truly immaculate experience! The room was gorgeous and the location was phenomenal. The room was quiet and every amenity we needed was taken care of. I want to give a big special thank you to Cynthia and Spiro who went above and beyond to make our experience great! They were extremely friendly, kind, and caring. They made us feel so welcomed as if we were amongst friends. I will definitely come back just to see them again!

Great place
Short, two night stay. Loved my room, the quietness of the 11th floor. The very friendly staff and the amazing location. Easy to get here from O'Hare with CTA. Everything you need is in walking distance nearby. One thing I wish the hotel would have done: On the day of my departure, there was the Chicago Marathon. I wish there would have been information given a day before as roads were closed. A note for guests would have been appreciated. Despite this small disappointment, I will stay here again.
