Sofitel Chicago Magnificent Mile

We had such a great stay in Chicago, and a big part of that was because of Gabriel. From the moment we arrived, he made us feel welcome and comfortable. He was incredibly helpful and easy to talk to, and he gave us some great recommendations for things to do and places to eat. Everything he suggested ended up being spot on and really made our trip even better (Sparrow was awesome). What I appreciated most was how genuine he was. You can tell he really cares about making sure guests have a great experience, and it shows in the way he interacts with people. Gabriel truly made our stay more memorable, and I’m really grateful for that. If you get the chance to meet him during your stay, you’ll be in great hands. Thanks for the goodie bag, GABRIEL! <3

We have stayed at this hotel several times but it had been 10 years ago. All I can say is this hotel is superb!!!! From check in to the immaculate room, amazing restaurant and the service guys outside, everything was beyond excellent. We will come back again. Can’t say enough!

We have been traveling to Chicago a few times a year since . . . the late 1970s. We used to try and stay at a different hotel each time - to get a diverse experience in this diverse city. Until. We stayed at the Sofitel in 2023. And now it is tough to think objectively. We always have a wonderful experience. The location is fantastic - on a quiet block just west of Michigan Ave. The building is really nice - modern architecture with interesting spaces and upgraded finishes. The staff is always pleasant and professional; many of the key people have been there since it opened 20+ years ago. And the dining is great. We just spent a long weekend . . . and it was our 4th stay in less than 3 years. Treat yourself to Sofitel. It is a gem.

We really enjoyed our stay at Sofitel Chicago. The hotel is beautifully decorated, very clean, and the rooms are extremely comfortable. The beds and bathrooms were excellent as well. A very pleasant experience overall.

Sophisticated Concierge Alem Sapp is truly a value added asset to this upscale establishment. I informed him of my two celebratory events. He went above and beyond my wildest expectations to make my stay on the Magnificent Mile exceptional. He truly understood the assignment and exceeded every expectation.He showered me with a new robe(the one in the room was truly small). He made me feel welcome and queenly. I plan to make this my exclusive hotel when frequenting the city of Chicago. His staff sang happy birthday to me and presented me with chocolate roses and macarons.My my my my, this was a phenomenal and gorgeous serenade. This was beyond 5 star service. Carolyn
