- great location and fantastic staff but overall terrible product. - no housekeeping service at all. At first they said it was an extra fee, and when I said "sure how much" they needed to call back after checking - not possible at all. He promised to send someoen to collect trash and drop off towels but in 3 days no trash was collected. I had to call a second time to get the towels delivered. - my wife called the week before to confirm the rooftop would be open, but when I checked the day we arrived, it was closed. - i should have stayed at a marriott.

Virgin Hotels Chicago did not disappoint! The location is excellent—just one block from the train, which made getting from the airport very easy. From the moment we arrived, the service was top-notch. Our valet, Mr. DeAndre greeted us, stored our luggage while we explored, and later personally escorted us to our room. Every staff member we encountered was friendly, professional, and welcoming. The rooms are a bit small but very clean, comfortable, and surprisingly quiet. The rooftop bar has a great vibe, and the food throughout the hotel was very enjoyable. I would definitely stay here again. Tip: A $20 bus pass gives unlimited rides for a week—cheaper and more convenient than Uber.

Had a 10/10 experience. The front desk was so damn good. They gave us all the tips and spots to enjoy Chicago. Shoutout Owen and Alana!

Location: Same building as the virgin hotel. Very nice. Need room key to access anything past the lobby/second floor. Second floor was **Sorta Open**. I had never been there when it was the virgin, but it seems a bit more Sports Illustrated-y and modern. There was plenty of areas to sit, at the bar or otherwise, however the only area of the resort that was open at the time I was there was the coffee shop which you get a voucher for a free Coffee or free Cookie during your stay. Atmosphere: They are trying to get it a more "athlete/sports fan/bears fan" vibe. Which I understand, it wasn't overwhelming, most of that was apparent at check in, and some of the smaller inserts into the rooms. If you've stayed there when it was the Virgin, it wont feel any different. Rooms: I had a suite on the 17th floor. Very reasonably priced, Loved the layout, No microwave was in the suite but Living room with a coffee maker, TV, Table, Couch, and was spacious. There are two large wooden sliding doors that separate the bathroom which is in the middle of there and the bedroom. Has couples sinks, the closet is in there too with a yoga matt along with towels, ironing board, hair drier. The actual toilet was behind another door that locked and had it's own space and felt private especially if you stay there with a group. The bedroom has a two readers on each side, The tv was against the wall, and there was a sittingh area and a table in there along with being a corner room with a full view of the city with blackout blinds. for privacy when you need. it. The rooms vviipoipjbbbbbvu unlb bjjjwere very spacious and felt very cozy and relaxing. Value: JUST SO YOU KNOW THERE IS A **$250 INCIDENTAL** charge which i found incredibly excessive.. Additionally there is about a $25 resort. fee, that is for each day. I booked 3rd party and was surprised and shocked how excessive it seemed. I did get all of it returned to me thoough and they have a lenient and fair late check out policy. But still having to put that much down seemed dispopotionate Cleanliness: Clean And Very ORderly Noise Level: City can get loud but they give you earbplugs. Service: They were very kind. I fnd it hard to believe that the ENTIRE BUILDING DID NOT HAVE A MICROWAVE THOUGH Amenities: Not worth the price hike for incidentals but still very nice
