Proposal
I planned my proposal on the terrace 16 patio and everything was perfect. From the first email they responded within a hour. Calling and asking questions and the server Alex was very helpful in the process. They gave us complimentary champagne and dessert for doing it here. I would recommend terrace 16 to everyone. Thanks to alex the server, talking to Trey on the phone, and Maria answer emails very quickly.

Wonderful experience and it was all because of Alex. He made us feel so welcomed, he was extremely attentive and made our night truly a great one. He not only made sure we were satisfied with our service but went above and beyond. At the end of the night we had to tell his manager how great our experience was all because of Alex. Remember that name! Thanks Alex You're the best!

Everything was amazing first class all the way. Housekeeping is so accommodating, Omari Yousuf was so helpful and kind. We appreciated the attention to detail.

Overrated Experience – Poor Service and Lacking Standards
I recently stayed at the Trump Hotel Chicago and was left underwhelmed, especially considering the brand’s supposed standards of luxury. The biggest disappointment was the concierge, Luis. From the start, he was smug and unhelpful—more interested in appearing important than actually providing assistance. He made several promises (restaurant reservations, a local itinerary, and follow-up on spa availability), but none of them were fulfilled. I had to chase him down multiple times, and each time was met with vague answers and zero actual follow-through. The health club also did not live up to expectations. For a hotel of this caliber, I expected a spotless and well-maintained space. Instead, it felt neglected—surfaces weren’t clean, towels were poorly stocked, and several amenities looked like they hadn’t been properly sanitized or attended to. Overall, this was not the luxury experience I was promised. Service and cleanliness are non-negotiable at this level, and unfortunately, both were lacking here. I won’t be returning.
