Rising high over Michigan Avenue, Trump Hotel Chicago has few competitors. The building, which also houses condominiums, is the 16th tallest in the world and the fourth tallest in the United States. That equates to unbeatable views of Lake Michigan and the Chicago skyline from hotel rooms with floor-to-ceiling windows, glossy dark woods and cool Italian Bellino linens. Its location in the River North Gallery District puts guests within walking distance of dozens of art galleries, but the best dinner option is on the hotel’s 16th floor: Chef Thomas Lents’s two Michelin-starred restaurant Sixteen serves innovative seasonal fare in the shadow of the Wrigley Clock Tower.

Our stay at this hotel was nothing short of exceptional. From the moment we arrived, we met and were warmly greeted by Mihai and other staff members. The service was warm, attentive and truly first-class. The room was spotless, beautifully designed with great views of the Chicago River! The combination of the very helpful and attentive staff along with the well maintained and comfortable rooms exceeded our expectations. We would absolutely return for another indulgent stay and we highly recommend this hotel for those seeking a refined, high-end experience.

Check in at Trump Towers was wonderful. We were greeted by a charming clerk (Jaclyn) who was so friendly and welcoming that we were put in a great mood even before we stepped into the spa. The spa itself was lovely — well decorated and very soothing vibe. Loved the quiet room - very cosy blankets and nice city view. Delicious snacks!!! Only thing that was not fabulous (& why I gave it 4 stars instead of 5) is that the dressing room is separated from the treatment rooms by an area accessible to all hotel visitors. That meant we were parading by random people/men in our robes to/from massage. That was creepy. Otherwise loved my day at Trump hotel/spa.

Jacqueline at the front desk was warm, inviting, and knowledgeable about all aspects of the hotel. We were greeted in such great style and it set us up to have a wonderful day! The spa was relaxing and spacious. The views were incredible and the treats in the relaxation room were to die for! I’ll be dreaming of those blueberry tarts!

Took my daughter to Chicago for spring break. The room we were given was filthy. One of the bed headboards had something smeared all over it and the AC vent was atrociously dirty and rattled like a cheap, junky car. We promptly requested a different room and were accommodated with a reasonable room on the 21st floor. We were unable sleep on night one as the adjacent room to our north was playing loud music and smoking weed. The entire hallway reeked. Security did eventually address this, but seriously this would never happen at a Four Seasons. On night four a similar occurrence with the adjacent room to our south… more loud music and partying. This took three requests to security to stop the insanity… yes three… and at 3:00AM. I’m personally insulted by the lack of care, lack of respect, and poor attitude of the staff. Are they trying to undermine the Trump brand? If so, their efforts (or lack of) are succeeding. The restaurant, Terrace 16, was overpriced, poorly staffed, unprofessional, and frankly a joke compared to every other restaurant we ate at while on this trip. Overall, I’m deeply saddened by this experience. Word to the wise… stay somewhere else.
