Fun hotel in a great Loop location
Chose the Virgin in conjunction with American Express Hotel Collection and am glad I did. We loved the vibe of the hotel and it's energy. It's quirky for sure but the staff is so friendly and the experience so good. Enjoyed the coffee bar downstairs each morning and the restaurant was very good, too. Upgraded to a suite as part of the Amex deal and we really appreciated that! It's our fourth Virgin hotel...just a few more to go until they open more! Next time in Chicago, I will definitely be back.

EVERY worker here is full of happy and passion. They loved their job and welcoming every guest visiting here. I been to the other virgin hotel in vegas, and the consistency of the service quality is the same!

I was travelling back home from a trip in St. Lucia and decided to spend a couple days in Chicago. I was super excited to stay at the original Virgin Hotel. When I arrived I was very pleasantly greeted by Chad at the front desk. For someone who travels a LOT, Chad was the difference between an amazing and an okay stay. With my loyalty In the Know membership, he upgraded my room and I received early check-in. I seriously just planned on leaving my bags to walk around the city a bit, but it was seriously lovely to be able to destress from my long flights first. My room was impeccibly clean and well appointed. The cleaning team did a great job. When you walk into a Virgin Hotel room, you can immediatly see where the cruise line cabins come from. Virgin branding all the way. The location of the hotel is superb and Chad was able to give some recommendations. I was super sad to learn that this amazing piece of history is going to stop being a Virgin Hotel in December, and I am happy that I was able to experience it while I had the chance. Thank you Chad for everything!!!!
