Dirty and old
Good location but dirty and old I was embarrassed I had my mom stay there.. There really is no lobby it's just kind of a small room with a window where the front desk people check you in. The staff was friendly.

From the moment we walked in, Cheryl at the front desk made our trip super special. Always greeted us when we came through the lobby and remembered details about our trip plans. Truly felt like a boutique hotel experience.

Terrible Stay
this is the most outdated iconic hotel in the city of Chicago. The rooms are filthy, outdated and things didn't work. We had a toilet in the middle - yes, the middle of our bathroom. Everything couldn't have been worse. the lighting, bathroom, carpet, even the makeup mirror didn't work. worse $500.00 I spent for a 2 night stay.

My husband and I had the pleasure of staying at The Whitehall Hotel in March. The property is lovely with an Old World charm, and the food is wonderful. We were treated well by every employee, from the desk clerks to the waiters. We have already booked another weekend and cannot wait to return!.
