Amazing trip with wonderful staff and Hospitality.

We had a great stay at Serai Chikmagalur. We went there as a family. The facilities and staff made it really special, although none of them asked to mention their name I genuinely wanted to appreciate each of them who made it really special. The food was awesome, especially the Malanad style with banana leaf, and the Malanad specials and other regular Indian food for lunch, and dinner was really good and authentic. It gave a homely feeling with the touch of luxury. Chef Rajesh provided great food. The food at Serai Chikmagalur was top class. We also stayed in Serai Bandipur last year, but food was not that good in Serai Bandipur especially for a five star category. Serai Chikmagalur had very good food worth visiting again. Further, the front of the staff was kind and courteous special. Thanks to Shruti Vaishnavi and Indhu Always smiling and customer friendly. The restaurant staff were very polite and happy to serve considering a lot of our requests because we had six months old baby, so we had to arrange special food. Thanks again to the entire staff there, Indu Loni, Amrith and others whose name I could not recollect. Actually, my family wanted to try other places like CGH or Evolve in Karnataka because they have very good food and luxury as during our last day with Serai Bandipur, everything was great the place, but the food was not up to the mark for that class of Hotel in Bandipur. Nevertheless, I convinces them to Try serai Chikmagalur and I’m glad that it worked out really well both in terms of facilities and food. Every adult in our group tried the spa. The spa in Serai Chikmagalur needs a real improvement where I would give only 2 star out of 5. Everything looks the same and the people/therapist there needs to skill up. Given my overall positive experience with the facilities, the people behind it who made it really special, I would still give this resort a 5 star. The staff had great attention to detail because we had children in the group they placed the swim tubes exactly in the room where the kids are staying so that we could enjoy the pool area without even asking for them to provide for it. So these are the small things that really make the trip really enjoyable and a memorable experience.

We had been to Serai Chikmagalur from 5th to 8th August for a short holiday. We were family of four and stayed at two pool villa rooms . The welcome on arrival was wonderful . The front office staff and the valet parking attendant were very responsive . Very pleasant welcome drink and chocolates were the highlight . Our rooms were ready as per early check in request . The rooms were huge with large open spaces around . Very nice and big bathrooms . All detail for guest comfort attended to . We visited the Odessey multicusine restaurant for all our meals . The staff there were very efficient and gave the best suggestions on food choices . We relished all the food ordered and with no shortcomings. Service was so very quick . Special mention to F&B manager Mr Wilfred . Head chef Mr Rajesh Dsouza and team . Guest service managers Mr Razzaq who took all care of our needs. Alongside Anish , his colleague name with starting G .Also all the serving staff Indu, Loni , Taichu, Renbeni always being around . Special mention of the breakfast.very wide spread . Hari at the Bar made some exclusive cocktails . He is a real talent . Lots of choices and truly exclusive. The SPA was also very professional. Excellent massage and body scrub . The pathways at the resort were well maintained for a evening stroll . Best relaxation for the family indeed . Checkout was also fast . We indeed had a wonderful time . We recently had an unforgettable stay at The Serai, Chikmagalur! From the front desk to the restaurant, the hospitality was top-notch. Special mention to Indhu and Shruthi, who were exceptionally warm, welcoming, and always greeted us with bright smiles. We stayed in the Estate Villa with Pool (split-level), which was luxurious and comfortable. Even with continuous rain keeping the weather wonderfully crisp and cold, there was plenty to keep us entertained indoors, from the library to indoor activities. The resort also offers a lovely evening coffee plantation walk, and on clearer days, cycling would be a fantastic way to explore. The food throughout our stay was fantastic as well. The absolute highlight was the Oma Signature Spa. Having experienced spas in many places, I can confidently say this was one of the absolute best. The therapist did an exceptional job—I highly recommend booking the signature treatment if you visit! We thoroughly enjoyed our time at The Serai.
