Best RCI resort I ever stay

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed December 9, 2019

nice environment, beautiful scenery, fresh air. The resorts itself having very good track, river and garden. But the restaurent food is just normal. However, walk 20 minutes to the nearest town, there is plenty of good restaurent and local hand made food. Walk further 30 minutes can reach a waterfall.

A hotel in the forest area

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed May 20, 2019

Friendly staff in particular the front desk manager. Quiet place. There is a wooden walkway to walk along the river. You can spend your time within the resort. There are a number of activities organised by the resort such as hiking. There is no public transport. You have to drive your car, hire the car from the resort or take taxi or DiDi car. I took the train to Guangzhou and MTR to Cong Hua 從化. Then take the DiDi car.

Amazing hotel in the middle of the mountains

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed July 7, 2018

This is a beautiful hotel up in the mountains on the boundary between Guangzhou and Huizhou. It's surrounded by forest and the only sounds at night are flowing water and the wildlife. It's a great place to get away from city life and breathe fresh air and enjoy the scenery. We stayed for one night in a Bamboo villa and had a huge space. We had our own jacuzzi and a huge balcony where we could sit and enjoy the view of the mountains. The bed was huge and the room had everything else we could have needed, including a torch if you wanted to walk outside when it was dark and an umbrella that you will probably need if you go in the rainy season. Our room was some way from the main building but there are small electric buses to take around the site. We had lunch, dinner and breakfast and enjoyed lovely food, mainly Cantonese style. You can walk in the grounds of the hotel or, if you have a car, you can access some of the waterfalls in the surrounding hills. There is an outdoor swimming pool and some hot pools but we didn't try them. There is ongoing development at the site but it didn't disturb us. You can also walk to the nearby village, a good walk downhill and then up again. This is a great place for a break from city-life in China. Much cooler than at sea-level in summer, which we appreciated.

Best rejuvenate breakaway

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed September 5, 2017

Great location ever to breakaway from a busy city life. 1.5 hours from Guangzhou to travel up to this beautiful quiet mount resort. Room are spacious with its iconic designed. Love the nature concept of this resort as it was build covering by all the trees. Great atmosphere and fresh air every morning you woke up. We enjoy the food and services provided from this resort. Overall this is a perfect option if you would like to skip from city for 2 - 3 days to have a reborn rejuvenation.
