This is not our first time in Cayo Coco, but the first at the MCC. Wow, what an experience! Beautifully maintained and clean grounds, amazing staff who go above and beyond, tasty and plentiful food, cool drinks, excellent service and everything that you need. It is the best hotel in Cayo Coco, on my opinion, and I have visited several of them! The a la carte are worth the visit, the buffet had tons of options ( always), the staff are always around and ensuring that service is provided in an excellent manner. Even the cleaning ladies across the resort , the gardeners, the waiters, the receptionists, EVERYONE at the resort is pleasant!!! They have stores where you can buy gifts, some food, cigars, cigarettes and some clothing: cheaper than the airport duty free!!!! We took the big VIP package and it was worth it. Had sent an email before we arrived and paid for it there: 95USD each. Included a 30 min massage (Roberto and Jose gave the best massages ever!!!), a lobster each, one 12 year old rhum bottle each, later checkout, and more! Well worth it. They have smaller packages: you can ask the hotel directly. Dariel and Gonzalo at the lobby bar were amazing! Our cleaning lady in room 6321 was wonderful, the buffet staff, the snack bar staff were also exceptional! Everyone! It would be too long to write all the names! It was mosquitoes season, so we packed 3 Ben’s repellent (with 30% deet) and we were left alone: no mosquitoes for us! We will be going back to this resort, guaranteed! Thank you to all the staff at the MCC.

I came on a solo trip to relax, I didn’t want a loud hotel and this was the perfect choice. Great experience, all the staff are pleasant and polite, the food was wonderful, especially at the restaurant near the beach for lunch, the beach is pristine and there were lots of beds to go around. I would recommend this hotel again.

It's been a wonderful week, the staff are very friendly and helpful, We tried out two restaurants, food is good, I like the Italian restaurant on top of the service reception desk, The mood is good and food is very tasty. Overall I highly recommend this resort. I will come back again.

We have visited this Adult only resort 4 times now. It is a beautiful decent sized resort where everything is centrally located. The workers are all amazing and friendly and treat everyone the same whether you tip them or not. We prefer to tip in US dollars and they do accept Cdn dollar bills; however do these people a huge favour and DO NOT TIP in Loonies or Toonies as it is very difficult for them to use the coin currency and their banks do not accept them. We were always asked to change the loonies and toonies to Cdn dollar bills which we did do a couple of times. The beach was very nice but due to rain every day (only at night time) it caused a lot of kelp which was cleaned daily but they could never stay on top of it. Also because of the rain it caused a lot of mosquitos, which was a pain but I suggest you take lots of bug spray and after bite. They also had a plane go over every day spraying the surrounding foliage (not directly over resort) so do not think anything will fall on you while you are on the beach. We did have an outdated room but it was clean and we had no issues what so ever and best of all we had the hottest water you can imagine. The mini bar was filled everyday with a couple of beer, pop and large sized water bottle. Also the drive from the airport is only about 20 minutes and that is taking into account other resort drop-offs. Overall this was one of the best vacations we had at Melia and I HIGHLY recommend this resort

This was a bestie trip, and for the most part we were happy with the resort. The grounds are well maintained every day, beach was beautiful, and we found the selection of food to be adequate. The churro cart was delicious. The staff are amazing! Shout outs to : Sashy in the buffet Jessica at reception Roy in the evening buffet Yunesli at the pool bar, very nice The negatives: If you get an unrenovated room, it’s a terrible shower. AC was just ok. Some days, it was very late afternoon by the time our room had been refreshed. No drink service at either the pool or beach ( not an issue for us, but some people like that) Not much in the way of excursions, but we knew that ahead of time. Playa Pilar was totally worth going to! And the WORST PART…. The mosquitoes! 🦟 I’ve never in my life experienced this so bad. It ruined any time spent outside …day or night…unless you were submerged in water. No exaggeration. We realize this is not the fault of the resort, but if you’re reading this go prepared . The poor staff were asking to borrow bug spray from guests. Over all good value for the money, just will never go at this time of year again.
