Since I first came to this wonderful country in 2005, the Hotel Mojito has been my place of choice in Cuba. At that time, it was the El Senador Resort. I stayed at the Emperador location. My experience was exceptional. My only regret was that I only booked a one-week vacation that year. Since then, I have always stayed at this hotel for at least ten days. Despite the resort's age and some problems with hot water, air conditioning, toilets, and the lack of my favorite rum, this resort is still my place of choice because of its exceptional beach and people. The Guest Relations Department does its best to resolve any issue as soon as possible. Special thanks to Ulicer Ramirez. Also, I would like to thank my lovely maid, Ive, who took care of room #2016. Last year, I stayed in room #2018, and she did a great job cleaning that room, too. I was so happy to see her again this year. I would also like to thank the bartenders at the Colibri Bar: Idael, Chico, Guille, Alain, Luis, Eduardo, Ernesto, and Pedro, as well as Roberto and Vladimir at the Beach Bar. They made my days enjoyable and unique. I appreciate their hard work so much. All of the gardeners, waiters, waitresses, and cooks at the grill, pasta, and smoothie stations in the buffet were hardworking and devoted to their jobs. I apologize for misspelling names and failing to mention all the wonderful people who work at this paradise on earth. I'll be back soon, guys! See you soon! THANK YOU!!!!!!

Amazing experience. Arrived yesterday and everything has been amazing. My man Chicho in the lobby bar has been an absolute gem. Catering to my every need, some even before I know I need them. Making suggestions and giving his expert opinion on various drinks. His Spanish Coffee is absolutely out of this world. An asset beyond compare for sure.

Location was beautiful, atmosphere was quiet.Rooms were clean however the structures of the resort are run down delapted. There was no hot water, the water pressure was terrible and when you flushed the toliet it came up into the tub very unsanitary. There is no French fries condiments, food has changed only pork and chicken once had tune. The food variety was very poor same thing every day. The la carte was good one night and terrible the next night. There are no longer nightly shows there is no longer a variety of drinks only sugery juice with your drinks no selection like previously draft beer only no cans. Got food posion from the after hours kitchen terrible just dirty bread with old cheese. No drinks there always run out of supply. No professional looking security, observed some one going through garbage cans, staff are out for themselves had to pay 220 dollars to up grade out room from block 15 which was a delapeted building. The positives about the hotel were the staff outstanding people who are obviously trying thier best without proper tools to run a resort to meet people's expectations who pay a great deal of money to come to cuba. The coffee bar alex,Pedro, and cico were outstanding staff and very good at their job I thank them for that they do. The cigar bar is not what it use to be there are no cigars anymore, closes at 10pm which sucks. The bartender however was fabulous and very good at his job and working with the minimum tools provided by cubucana. I probably will not return to this resort die to the lack of hot water and unsanitary conditions, the staff are the only reason I would consider going back but the infrastructure is delapatated needs to be fixed, the grounds have garbage all over needs to be cleaned as it looks like your at the dump. Over all the cigar bar the coffee bar beach were good wish they would put money into the place and fix or.remove the delapatated buildings. Chio cuba
