Perfect stay-Walkable Cincinnati

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 1 day ago

We love the 21C in Cincinnati. We have stayed in several room styles. We stayed for 4th of July and had a king corner. The room was clean and the ac kept the room cool, even in the heat wave. We had breakfast at Metropole. Our waitress was lovely and I wish we could remember her name. The avocado toast was perfect and the table pancake had a hint of almond flavor which elevated the flavor. Thanks for a great stay and we will definitely be back!

Won’t be back

First, the lobby was beautiful and the valet were very nice. However, it felt dated and dingy when exiting the elevator. Our room was dark and felt dirty. Our 2 small windows looked directly at a wall, which did not help the dungeon feeling of the room. The furniture was stained, the toilet ran every 15 seconds and the shower and bathroom sink constantly dripped. I did complain about the toilet with no resolve. My son just moved to Cincinnati. When we return, we will definitely be staying at a different hotel

Fading Hotel; Friendly Staff

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 2 weeks ago

21c is a cool concept of a hotel with art on the first two floors. Check-in was efficient; and the staff was welcoming and helpful. I also paid for a cup of black coffee at the restaurant and the staff there was pleasant and helpful. Here are some drawbacks: The hotel is near several bars and restaurants and our 4th floor room was noisy as a result of the nightlife. I love that Cincinnati has a happening downtown area; but if you want a quiet consider the location of 21c. The hotel needs a refresh as carpet in the hallway leading to the room is dingy and separating. The room itself was dusty -- noticeably so -- and it smelled a bit musty. The towels are not plush. All in all, I think the 21c is in need of a refresh and it's cleaning staff in need of a bit better supervision. However the front desk and restaurant staff were wonderful and I appreciated their kindness.

Wow! Great, unique hotel!

We had such an amazing say at the 21C museum hotel in Cincinnati over Christmas. What a great space and what great staff. The art on the walls is amazing and the gallery on the second floor was nothing short of a small art museum type experience. Our room was first class all the way. The location can’t be beat. And again the staff was as accommodating than most five star hotels I’ve ever stayed at. Also had a great meal at the restaurant. Métropole. Highly recommend this hotel.
