Hyatt Regency Clearwater Beach Resort and Spa

As a Hyatt member, we were impressed by the usual outstanding service and quality of food, the hotel's convenience to the beach, and their attentive service. The town offers great food options for every preference.

We were misled to believe that parking was included as either valet or self park. When we arrived for a 9 day stay we were told the daily fee would be $36 self or $40 valet. DAILY When we expressed confusion the desk manager graciously agreed to charge $20 per day for the valet service. When I got my bill it was for $480 for parking My sisters had joined us for a few days (2 bedroom suite) and I was told they could park for free. I was charged $40 per day for 12 days! I reached out to the desk manager jamie several time to get this corrected but he ignored me. fyi: I overtipped the valets because of his implied generosity so parking at this hotel cost me over $600 additionally I would have given them a 5* but for this issue

My family of 5 absolutely loved this hotel. Every person we encountered from start to finish was exceptional and the few issues I had were resolved immediately. I loved the breakfast at Shor and the very good morning coffee always available at the Marketplace. Bed was exceptional, rooms were on the simpler side but spotlessly clean. Self parking is super easy because it’s attached to the hotel. Would definitely stay here again! Hyatt is the best.

Location is perfect, the atmosphere for resting and enjoyment was precisely what I needed for personal rest and quiet. My room was perfect, with all the amenities, and I kept it clean every day, so housekeeping kept it nice and neat. I went for rest, peace, and I got everything I needed. This resort was clean, the staff was friendly, the food was fabulous, and with a view of the water and beach, I sat on my veranda every morning and evening.

We walked into the Hyatt whilst passing through Clearwater on a road trip. Mychael on the front desk went above and beyond to help us book a room for 2 nights. She made us feel very welcome and allocated us a wonderful spacious room with a view of the pool and the beach. We had the buffet breakfast one morning which was excellent. The omelettes made to order were a highlight! We had a lovely day relaxing on the beach, the sunbeds were $20 for the day with the Hyatt discount. There are plenty of restaurants and bars to explore in the area. Thanks to Mychael and the rest of the staff for making our short stay so enjoyable.
