Hyatt Regency Clearwater Beach Resort and Spa

We spent 5 days here in August and overall weather was great! It rained daily but never lasted too long. Stayed on points and it was well worth it! Room had a nice balcony to drink morning coffee while looking at ocean (partial view) and a kitchenette which was so helpful to keep drinks and snacks. We placed a Target delivery to the room which helped to save some costs on drinks, etc. Hotel is right on the beach, so close and convenient and beautiful amazing sunsets to watch!!

My family stayed here for our first time to Clearwater and this is by far the best hotel room we’ve ever had on summer vacation. We booked the 1 bedroom 2 queen suite. There were 2 queen beds, 1 sofa bed in the living room, and an additional sofa bed in another room. There were also 2 full bathrooms and a full kitchen. There was a full dining table too. There was a shared washer and dryer on the floor we were on and we used it almost everyday. Twice I did have to remove mattress covers from the washer and dryer, so I wonder if the housekeepers are using it while they’re cleaning rooms also. If so, they don’t seem to be keeping an eye on them since the guests are having to remove them. But I don’t know for sure that they were left there by housekeepers. As for amenities, there was a spa onsite (we didn’t use it) across from the gym, a play room for kids, and 2 restaurants onsite. We only ate at the SHOR American Seafood Grill. We ate breakfast, lunch, and dinner there on different days during our stay and they were all very good. Dinner was quite expensive, but the food quality was great. I decided to do poolside yoga one day, which actually wasn’t poolside but was instead in a corner behind the poolside restaurant. I really enjoyed it, but just be warned that it is in a full sun area so you will sweat if it is a sunny day. We’d definitely stay here again if going back to Clearwater. The room we booked at the Hyatt Regency can’t be beat.

Perfect location to enjoy beach and some downtime at pool. Walking distance to restaurants and great spot to watch sunset without crowds. Pool is small and can be overcrowded but kids love it!

It was great!! We had a wonderful time. We are Hyatt members and always have good things to say. Even if we have a concern they will always handle with care and are understanding.

They were creative and patient with us. Helped us do the poses we wanted and helped us come up with additional poses. Great experience !
