Hyatt Regency Clearwater Beach Resort and Spa

Not a fully furnished kitchenette. Didn’t even have a pizza cutter and when asked to borrow one from staff they brought up another steak knife. Not enough dishes for 4 and the hot tub wasn’t very warm/bubbles were not working

Nice family friendly hotel. Clean, friendly and accommodating staff. Nice relaxing vacation. Hotel is clean, but n need a an update.

Customer service was atrocious. we entered our room, noticed a whistling sound from air getting sucked out of the room through a gap at the bottom of the front door. We called down prior to unpacking, to see if we needed to switch rooms or if it could be fixed. They said to stay there they would send someone up. We waited 45 minutes trapped in the room and called again. They said they’d try to send someone up. Engineering came up and looked at the issue for 30 seconds and said he’d be right back. We waited another hour (we were going to take our kids out that evening but couldn’t), and called again. They said they’re looking for the piece the door is missing and to hang tight. At 9:30 pm we called again and said we were going to bed in this room, our two small kids were up way past their bedtime stuck in a room on a wasted evening, and now have been up way too late which affected the following day. We told them the issue wasn’t fixed and we were unhappy and they said they’d try would fix it in the morning. They never came back and never brought it up to us again. We ended up plugging it with towels for the whole stay. At checkout, I was comped our parking as if it was a standard nuisance that would be fixed with a 10% discount. We won’t be returning and have already advised others to try other options as well.

Pleasant and relaxing. My favorite place to get away and disconnect from work and stress. Best place to reboot. The sunsets make you forget about the rest of the world.
