Hyatt Regency Clearwater Beach Resort and Spa

Great experience. Prompt, kind and talented

Fantastic stay in Clearwater Beach. My husband and I came for our 17th wedding anniversary with another couple. We upgraded our room to the two-bedroom suite with panoramic view of the beach. We were not disappointed! The room was incredibly spacious equipped with a full kitchen! We were able to purchase some groceries to keep on hand to make breakfast for ourselves along with drinks and snacks. It worked out great! We took full advantage of the discounted beach chairs and cabanas at the beach for a couple days, as the pool was often crowded with families and small children. Our children would have easily enjoyed the pool if they were with us! The food at SHOR was great but the Espresso Martini is a must try! I had the whipped feta appetizer. It came with fresh vegetables, and I opted for Gluten Free bread instead of the naan. We all ate off these for a couple days as there was plenty of feta! We enjoyed drinks at the Tropico Cantina Rooftop bar and watched the Kentucky Derby race. The drinks are good and the view is even better. In the evenings, we often would sit out on our patio which faced beach and listened to the ocean water and watched the sunset. It couldn't be more perfect. Although our trip was only an extended weekend, we definitely enjoyed ourselves and will definitely return.

Absolutely awful experience. Our stay was fine but the billing was unbelievable and the staff didn't help. They kept on putting me on hold and eventually disconnecting me. Our first night stay was booked with priceline and we paid full amount. Hyatt refused to honor our payment to Priceline and charged us again. Priceline insisted they paid Hyatt so after several attempts with Hyatt and Priceline, we tried our credit card company to no avail. Would not recommend this hotel and their billing staff - awful. Thanks for reading. Very frustated!!!!

Neal did a great job of finding a spot on the beach to capture us at sunset. He was quick to make edits and we were very pleased with the photos.

Had an amazing time at the Hyatt Regency Clearwater. The fact that it was right on the beach, had a pool with a view, and an amazing room made this our most relaxing anniversary trip ever! The staff was very welcoming and responsive. We were able to take the bikes out for a quick tour of the beach. We also enjoyed the ability to rent the chairs on the beach for a discounted price. We were upgraded for a small price to an amazing room with ocean views and everything was very clean. Appreciated the many water coolers they had around the pool and hot tub area. Would definitely stay again.
