Not up to Hyatt standards but still a nice hotel.
This is at most a 3 star hotel. The lobby was sparse and uninviting. The staff did not offer us our complimentary welcome drink even though is was right there behind them. The rooms were clean and had good views of the Gulf. On site parking was plentiful but expensive. No nightly entertainment. Not much of a bar either. The rooms sliding glass door was nearly impossible to open. The hotel is NOT on the beach, it is across the street from the beach.

Great stay in Clearwater Beach
We are longtime World of Hyatt members, and chose this for our daughter's 19th birthday getaway before she starts college ( UA - Roll Tide!) The hotel was perfect - great location, well maintained with clean, comfortable rooms, easy parking and friendly staff. The restaurant was a convenient and reasonably priced spot for breakfast. The beach is right across the street and is beautiful, and the pool area is so nice and inviting. We spent time at both every day. We were completely satisfied with our stay and felt the price was reasonable for the experience provided. Would choose the Hyatt for our next stay in Clearwater Beach without hesitation.

The Perfect Getaway!
Our room was better than expected. You couldn't beat the view. The food and drinks were delicious. The staff was very helpful and friendly.
