Hyatt Regency Clearwater Beach Resort and Spa

Lamar was excellent! We had a baby with us and he was amazing and patient, He made the photo session fun and engaging. We loved the pictures so much we had a hard time choosing which we wanted.

We had a ladies' weekend to rescue some friends from the winter blues and chose a beach trip. We booked a suite and were very excited because the photos are spectacular. The 2 bedroom suite was over $1000/night so we had some expectations that were not met. On more than one occasion we phoned the front desk to request items, like an extra blanket. Hours later we would have to phone again. There was a small hotel size waste can in MB for recycling....odd place for it. There was a wedding on the roof top and the pool DJ made no acknowledgement when pointed out to him so that maybe he could play more appropriate music when dad was having his 'first look' with his daughter. The couch was squeaky and uncomfortable. The showers left us wondering if the pressure would rinse out our shampoo! The plus side: phenomenal location and views. The food was average. The pool and bar staff were great. Valet and bellman are attentive.

We had a fantastic stay at the Hyatt Regency Clearwater and couldn’t have asked for a better location—right in the heart of everything and incredibly convenient for exploring the area. The property itself is clean, modern, and well-maintained, with a great overall atmosphere. The on-site restaurant served a really enjoyable breakfast each morning, with quality options and excellent service that set the tone for the day. What really stood out was the level of hospitality. As Globalists, we truly felt recognized and appreciated—our perks were fully honored, and we were even upgraded to a beautifully furnished suite that made the stay feel extra special. The suite was spacious, comfortable, and thoughtfully designed. Overall, a wonderful experience and we’d absolutely return.

Great location. Can easily walk to many places and activities. Access to beach was great. Pool was very nice - the kids loved it. We were there over Easter weekend, and they had a ton of kid's activities, which was greatly appreciated! We weren't sure if there would be a lot of spring breakers (college-aged), but happy to see so many young families. Our room was spacious and we loved having the kitchenette. Thanks for a great first family vacation!!

Fabulous hotel right on beach and easy walk to restaurants- Frenchy’s in stone crab season is great. Great breakfast buffet. Fun kids’ activities. Nice pool area too.
