Hyatt Regency Clearwater Beach Resort and Spa

The location was great, directly across from the beach, easy access, variety of activities all within walking distance. The experiences were also great! Pool activities for kids, yoga, and more. We did professional photos with Nate, booked through hotel website, he was excellent to work with and gave us memories that will last a life time!

Too many hidden fees. By time we paid all the extra fees to stay here it was over$200 more per day than what the listed nightly fee was

The Hyatt Clearwater Beach Is located right in the middle of everything. It’s one block and a half from the marina, steps from Pier 60, and two blocks the main shopping area. There’s a Starbucks across the street, and a fun little café inside. We were a little hesitant about having to cross the street to get to the beach, but it really is not a problem. It’s more like crossing a beach walk. You can rent cabanas chairs and beach umbrellas on the beach for a fraction of the price that you can in South Beach. The rooms were spacious, clean, and we had a partial ocean view. With the location does come loud music at night from the bars and restaurants below and also street noise, however, we also understand that that is out of the hotels hands. Our only downside of the trip is they were out of 2 queens When we booked so we had a king and the pullout couch. The pullout couch was very uncomfortable, but they fix that with a rollaway bed. They were very accommodating and their customer service was excellent.. It was nice having room to move around and The kitchenette space was amazing. Our room was located right next-door to the laundry however we could not hear it through the wall. The breakfast buffet down at Shor has a very good offerings and is fairly priced. You can order off the menu as well. Aside from the hotel, Clearwater Beach felt very safe. There were plenty of police and while there were spring breakers, it felt more of a family vibe.We had no problem letting our 15 year-old wander around on the main drag. Thank you Hyatt, we are usually Marriott people, but you might have won over a new customer!

This attractive hotel is located smack in the middle of Clearwater Beach. The rooms are great, nearly all with partial ocean views and well kept. The very nice 8th floor pool is heated and overlooks the ocean. All the restaurants, pool bar and other food offerings were tasty and in general the hotel staff were very friendly and accommodating of guest needs. We plan to return next time in the area.
