Was a fantastic trip, the area was amazing and the valet helper Asher was astounding and made sure all my questions got answered. Highly recommend!

I was an organizer for a group of 320 people that conducted a four day car event at the Cheyenne Mountain Resort. Most importantly, two representatives from the hotel that I worked with, Cianna Yeago and Kasi Dwyer, were excellent in planning and helping us accomplish the success of the event. Everyone from the staff that we dealt with were professional and accommodating with our needs. The food service was very good and the guest rooms were top notch. The hotel with all its amenities is a first class operation. I would not hesitate to recommend this hotel to anyone for a stay of any duration to a large scale event. Thank you, Fritz Holland

Cheyenne Mountain Resort and The Country Club of Colorado hosted our 24th Annual Patriot Golf Benefit. I cannot say enough about how the Event Manager, G. Houston, and her staff, made this year's event the best it has ever been (and after 24 years, that is saying something, indeed!). From the early planning phase to the actual day of event, G. Houston, representing the Cheyenne Mountain Resort, made every decision clear and simple. I was informed of every detail necessary to make our charity event as successful as it could be. Every detail was explained and options given. Room layouts were discussed and every time I wanted to do another walk-through, G. Houston graciously met me and hashed through any questions I might have had. On the day of the event, every table and chair was exactly where I needed them to be. The food was amazing - both breakfast and lunch! The tables were bussed to perfection. My golfers have never been treated better and they were highly complimentary of every detail that was provided by Cheyenne Mountain Resort, G. Houston, and her outstanding banquet staff.

This property was exceptional! Beautiful location with the Cheyanne Mountains in the background. The resort was well maintained and clean. Nice size outdoor pool near the lobby. There is also an aquatic center with an indoor and outdoor Olympic size pools. Added bonus is a lake on the property, which the resort provides kayaks, pedal boats, and paddle boards and life jackets as part of your stay. The lobby has a buffet restaurant for breakfast, a full bar and another restaurant. There are also places to sit outside to overlook the mountains. At night, they do provide a fire and s’mores making kits. The rooms were clean and sufficient size for my family of 4. You can valet or self park. The resort is very kid friendly and staff was excellent. Would absolutely recommend and stay here again. Well done!

This resort was taken over by Hyatt, & the deferred maintenance of the previous owners & Hyatt still shows. Pros: some of the staff, especially Scott McNabb, Night Audit, were excellent & customer-oriented. Also, Housekeeping was especially attentive. In 50 years of being a guest at many hotels all over the world, I've never experienced the personal level of housekeeping service that I did here... when I left the "do not fisturb" sign on my door, Housekeeping took the effort to text me asking if I still wanted service (I'd requested it at check-in) & when it would be convenient! Wow! Most hotels would just skip your room if you had the DND sign on your door when they passed by. Cons: Upkeep of the resort is lacking: the railing on the deck outside the buffet restaurant is sad, peeling wood stain that cheapens the feel of the resort. Also, the elevator from the parking lot to the top level of the Main Lodge needs to be vacuumed daily as there are leaves inside the elevator all the time. Also, the previous night's cocktail glasses left by guests on the outdoor walkway were still littering the railings & ledges of the walkway the next morning. C'mon, it would take 1 staff person 5 minutes to collect these at the end of the evening. It seems that maintenance in general has been deferred which keeps this from being a first class experience. Finally, my room in Cripple Creek Lodge was categorized as a Mountain View room, but, at best, is a partial mountain view; the majority of the "view" is blocked by the room next door which has a balcony that extends 10' into the "view" for 368. As an "elite" guest, I appreciated the upgrade from a standard room, but please don't create expectations (a mountain view) that are subsequently dashed.
