Hotel Polaris

Great hotel! Excellent views of the mountain. The hotel is really modern. The restaurant is excellent. Heated pool outside. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Love the flight-oriented theme of the hotel with the Air Force Academy just down the road.

Hotel was very nice and staff was super friendly and responsive. Pool area is nice and adjacent outdoor space is very family friendly. My only issue was the housekeeping service was bad. The first day they didn’t come at all and I had to request service. The second and third day they came but didn’t make the beds or clean. They simply brought us new towels. No new water. No clean glasses. Nothing.

Really fantastic hotel! Beautiful, comfortable, great views, welcoming staff, great bars including an amazing rooftop. Wonderful in every way. We had our dog with us and she was treated like a rock star. Loved it.

We absolutely love Hotel Polaris and look forward to every stay! Our son is a Cadet at the Air Force Academy so we have stayed here five times now and it has consistently been a wonderful experience. The hotel is beautiful—modern, and thoughtfully designed with subtle aviation-inspired touches that make it feel especially fitting for its location next to the Air Force Academy. The rooms and common areas are comfortable, stylish, and very well maintained, and the location could not be more convenient for visiting USAFA. What really stands out, though, is the staff and the level of service. On the rare occasions we’ve had a minor issue during one of our stays, it has always been handled with exceptional attention and care. The managers and staff genuinely want guests to have a great experience, and that makes such a difference. Hotel Polaris is one of our favorite hotels and has truly become a place we look forward to returning to. It feels like a "home away from home" for us and for our Cadet. I would highly recommend this hotel, absolutely 5 stars!!

Had a terrific stay at the Hotel Polaris this past weekend! Check-in was a breeze, the lady who checked us in was very welcoming! The hotel is a solid stay. Had great food from Pamela's and Thunderbird. Doolies made great milkshakes, was a bit disappointed by the hot dogs we ordered didn't seem very well put together. The hotel is lovely and they use high-end furnishings for the property and rooms, everything was topnotch. The staff were friendly and very helpful throughout our stay, they were extremely responsive on the text feature, I made a request for housekeeping items with the front desk and that was handled very well. I also texted about some minor maintained issues in my room and they responded rather quickly to resolve. Water pressure in shower is kind of meh...not very strong. My only lackluster experience was at check-out, the young lady who was checking us out seemed super disinterested and disengaged when I was telling her about my issue with my room. I removed a star from my rating because I was told we would receive an upgraded room with a "mountain-view" honestly you could see the mountain but you had to stand at a slant to actually get a good view. This upgraded room was apparently over a lounge that played loud music after midnight on the weekend. My recommendation is avoid room 871 if you want to sleep through the night during the weekends. Final point great hotel, helpful, friendly staff (for the most part). The rooms are nicely maintained I would recommend that housekeeping actually mop floors in room bathrooms, I was caught off guard when I saw how dirty by socks got from walking on the floor of the bathroom in my room. It was impressive to see maintenance staff checking tables throughout the lobby bar to ensure nothing was wobbly, excellent dedication to detail! The hotel is located near the Air Force Academy and not near anything else, get a rental car if you can, parking at the hotel was very easy to use. Taking uber or lyft everywhere from the hotel is not the most economical option if you care about cost savings. A plus hotel and worth a visit!!
