Six Senses Con Dao

I have stayed at luxury hotels in various parts of the world, but the level of hospitality here was truly exceptional. All of the hotel staff were extremely friendly while remaining highly professional and attentive, and they responded to even the smallest requests with a warm smile. Having dedicated staff looking after us throughout our stay made everything incredibly comfortable. They also recommended activities based on our interests and, importantly, suggested activities and ways to spend our time depending on the weather and our condition on any given day. We were extremely satisfied with the overall experience, thanks to Huy, our Guest Experience Maker. As a Japanese guest, I am accustomed to the exceptionally high level of service that Japan is known for. Even compared with Japanese hospitality, I found the service at Six Senses to be outstanding. In Japan, staff generally treat you very respectfully as a valued guest. At Six Senses, of course, you are treated as a guest, but the staff also interact with you in a way that feels much more like being cared for by friends or family. That made the experience feel particularly warm and personal. The accommodation consists of private villas, and most of them have direct access to the beach. The villas have a wonderful atmosphere and are extremely comfortable, convenient and clean. In the evening, the staff prepare the villa for the night, including taking care of insects such as mosquitoes, so you can stay comfortable even though the villas are surrounded by lush greenery and nature. It is really quiet in the night and falling asleep to the sound of the waves was simply heavenly. The private pool attached to the villa is also spacious enough to enjoy comfortably as a family. The beach stretches for approximately two kilometers and is truly magnificent. The food was excellent as well, and reasonable price. I stayed with my wife and our three-month-old baby, and we did not experience any inconvenience at all. Of course, we brought some of our own essentials, such as formula, an electric kettle, and diapers. There were also many families staying with young children, and the resort provides an environment where even small children can enjoy themselves. We visited in early September, which is during the rainy season. However, there were still plenty of periods of sunshine, and we were able to fully enjoy the sun. Although the rainy season seems to be considered the off-season, watching the rain from our villa and seeing the weather constantly change was actually one of the highlights of our stay. It allowed us to experience the grandeur of nature in a way that was both beautiful and deeply moving. If you are able to stay for three nights or more, I would highly recommend visiting during the rainy season as well. You can enjoy not only bright, sunny weather, but also experience the many different faces of Con Dao Island.

We came to Con Dao with high expections but could never foresee this amazing experience and we are still, months later, still talking about it. The resort itself is quietly magical. Beautiful, calm, genuinely luxurious, but in the most understated way. Our villa was the finest we have ever stayed in, the view unbeatable, and every small detail across the property seemed designed around one thing: making you feel completely spoiled without ever making a fuss about it. But what turned a beautiful stay into an unforgettable one was Trúc, our GEM. She was genuinely warm in a way you simply cannot train into people. Always available, always one step ahead, and truly invested in making our days special. She arranged everything from the morning yoga, sound healing session to the cooking class. She even arranged a private date night with an outside jungle movie just for us two. Weeks after we came home she wrote again to send us the recipes we had asked about. That is not service, that is care. A separate thank you to the kitchen. My wife Linda is gluten intolerant, and we have never experienced a resort that goes this far. Freshly baked gluten-free bread waiting every single morning. And beyond that, the chef made his own gluten-free pasta from scratch, baked gluten-free hamburger buns, and prepared his own gluten-free pizza dough. Nothing was ever a problem, nothing was ever a lesser version of the real thing — she simply got to eat like everyone else, which anyone living with an intolerance will understand is rarer than it should be. The rest of the team was every bit as good. From the moment we were picked up at the airport, every single host we met was clearly working towards the same thing my our stay the best experience ever. A special thank you to Manjit Ghosh, the General Manager. He took the time to have a coffee with us several times just to check in and also share his great experiences from around the world. He has created lovely atmosphere at the resort and the standard of his team say everything about the culture he has built there. We can warmly recommend Con Dao to anyone, and if you go, do ask for Trúc as your host. You will not regret it.

Our stay at Six Senses Con Dao was truly wonderful from beginning to end. The resort has such a cosy and warm atmosphere, but what made the experience exceptional was the genuine hospitality of the people. It reminded me exactly why Six Senses has held such a special place in my memories for so many years. The food was outstanding. On our first night, we enjoyed the Western cuisine, followed by Vietnamese cuisine on our second night. Both dinners were absolutely delicious, beautifully prepared, and memorable. A special mention must go to Executive Chef Suresh, whose welcoming personality and positive energy made our dining experiences even more enjoyable. You can truly feel the passion behind the food and the hospitality. The service throughout our stay was on another level. Special thanks to the hotel managers, Manjit and Emrah. Both of you represent the spirit of Six Senses wholeheartedly. Your warmth, professionalism, and genuine care brought back so many wonderful memories of my experiences with Six Senses from 10 years ago. It is rare to return to a brand after so many years and still feel that same sense of warmth and connection. And lastly, our butler, Huy, was truly one of a kind. I had quite a few personal requests during our stay, and he handled every single one with patience, enthusiasm, and genuine pleasure. Nothing ever felt like too much trouble. His attention to detail and willingness to help made us feel incredibly well taken care of. Not to forget our one of a life time experience here at Six Senses. We had a chance to release a batch of green sea turtle back to the sea. The team had been taken care of the turtle’s eggs since 2018. If you are lucky enough, your stay will include this amazing experience. To the entire Six Senses Con Dao team: thank you for making our stay so memorable. The beautiful surroundings are only part of what makes this place special: The warmth, care, food, and people are what truly make it unforgettable.

All the staff were so kind and welcoming, making our trip truly special. Waking up to beautiful views, enjoying delicious breakfasts, spending time by the beach, and ending each day with amazing food at both restaurants at Six Senêns. Everything was simply perfect. All the activities were so enjoyable and interesting, made even better by the thoughtful support from the staff throughout our stay. They truly made us feel at home and took such good care of us. Going home with full hearts, wonderful memories, and some lovely gifts to remember this beautiful trip by. This is one of my favorite resort. The staffs are super helpful and the vibe and view are phenomenal. Highly recommend!!!
