Pre-dating the American Revolution, Concord's Colonial Inn is a tribute to the country's rich heritage. The main inn, originally built in 1716 and listed on the National Register of Historic Places, serves as an anchor for an enclave of guest rooms, suites, apartments and private houses. You're in good company as you savor its gracious hospitality and comfortable Colonial style: A U.S President and even a ghost have made themselves at home at this Concord, Massachusetts, landmark.

Great location in quaint town of Concord. Overpriced for accommodations. We realize it was historic. Had to get a cot for 1 teenager. Cot was wobbly and didn’t stay fully inflated. Front desk was rigid . Had a payment cluster and it became our problem not theirs when in reality all steps were taken to secure payment at check in. Took care of it in the end but initially involved paper work but in the end could have just taken credit card over the phone !

Stayed here the weekend with a large group. Everyone had rooms and we booked a few suites. The beds were really comfortable, the Continental breakfast was wonderful, the pool, everything was great! 10/10

Colonial Inn accommodated out party of 15 Patriots Day participants in our own room. Reservations had been made. Most of my friends had burgers, fish 'n' chips, chowder... and I tried the Waldorf Salad. I love trying things that I rarely see on menus, and/or I don't make at home. We were served complimentary cornbread and butter, which was very good. Not dry at all. Flavorful, soft, slightly moist. It received a few positive comments. Everyone commented on how much they liked their food, but sadly, my salad wasn't that great. The grape slices, walnuts, celery, and apple chunks were good, but the greens were noticeably tasteless, some even bitter. If we return here next year, I will get a burger, or fish 'n' chips, or chicken caprese sandwich. The staff was pleasant and accommodating. The decor was Colonial. There were tables with umbrellas outside. Popular, but not noisy. Steps make it hard for handicap access. Well-located in town, close to a lot of shopping and on the parade route.

A historic building reportedly haunted with many staircases and passages and corridors and additions (no, I didn’t get to see any ghosts). No elevator. No fridge in the room, which was superhot and stuffy upon arrival (why would one run A/C in November when one can simply open the windows?). No kettle, but one can go to the restaurant area and get hot water there at the coffee stand. The coffee was free, but since no milk was loaded into the machine, it would only dispense black coffee. No DND sign in the room. The shower stall is very small, and I am petite. Hard to find parking in the evening because many people come to eat at the Colonial Inn. Because of the many dining rooms, cooking and the small areas (room after room after room) inside the building, there is that heavy warm oily odor inside. Wifi was good.

Our room had bed bugs, so be sure to check the box spring if you choose to stay here. Service was decent except for the late night shift was not friendly at all.
