Charming decor, great location, stunning view overlooking the haven and the bridge from our room. Fantastic breakfast. Super friendly staff both at the reception and dining room. What a pleasant stay!

Centrally located hotel right in the Nyhavn neighborhood. The room was comfortable and unique with the beams and sitting area that overlooked the harbor. The shower was a little difficult for my tall husband, but other than that it was lovely. The breakfast was one of the best during the trip. They have a bar right outside the breakfast area for drinks by the water later in the day. It made for a pleasant stroll along the canal where you can grab a boat tour or take a pic in front of their famous vibrantly colored historical buildings.

Best location on the Nyhavn Canal - the hotel is charming and has a lovely boutique and cozy feel, especially during the holidays. While the rooms are on the small side - if you are tall watch out for the beams - but they are so cozy and clean. Our room faced the canal so it was a lovely view through the eclectic Danish style windows (wood shades). The rooms are very clean and serviced daily. The lobby has books and games to keep you entertained if desired. The food options were wonderful - the breakfast was delicious with many options to keep you full throughout the day - we loved the omelette station, smoothies, cheese wheel, pastries, yogurt and homemade granola etc. Dinner at Il Rosmarino was amazing too, fresh and tasty. The location right on the canal was super convenient as there are cute cafes and kiosks to buy local products, and it is in walking distance to the shopping area, canal boat tour, and the stunning Rosenborg Castle/park. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Note - don't buy postcards or stamps to mail out as there is no public mail system - I learned the hard way as I bought stamps and postcards from a souvenir shop and after writing them out and handing to the hotel's front desk staff to mail for me they let me know they could not take them to mail as there is no longer public mail services except for remote locations in Denmark. True story.

Prior to staying at the hotel I did message them to ask about any dedicated taxi service from the airport, they were quick with the response and gave a lot of detail about getting to the hotel, I did opt for the public transport (Which was recommended by the hotel) and I must say was very simple and easy to follow. I flew in from London Heathrow on a ridiculously early flight and was at the hotel by about 11 am, I did partially fill in the online check in and noted my estimated arrival time, the hotel happily obliged and (Subject to availability) were great in getting my room ready early. The room was a decent size and wasn’t facing the water (If you visit I would recommend getting these especially as I arrived on the St. Lucia festival, as this would give you great views from the comfort of your room), the room itself had all the necessities you would expect, tea/coffee refills every day, also added bonus of tea/coffee cards to redeem in in the cafe/bar downstairs, shower was decent size and pressure was good. The bed was comfortable and pillows were nice and soft, very relaxing after walking most of CPH over the 4 days. Breakfast was included in my booking, which if you can get I would definitely recommend, I set off early and started breakfast by 7:00 at the latest. Lots of variety, cold counter with skyr and oats or Rislamande, ham, cheese etc. hot counter with bacon, sausages, tomatoes, mushrooms and an omelette made to order, breads and pastries and coffee/tea/juice. I loaded up on breakfast and set off for most of the day walking around until the evening and this was ample enough. I did try the in house restaurant one evening and the food was excellent had an unusual request for an extra side of the pickled onions which the chef giggled at. Staff were excellent and looked after me well, from the reception on arrival (and me asking about various things to see via walking and the walk to the Carlsberg factory), the bar and restaurant staff, cleaners and management, all were always super helpful and happy to assist even with my typically English pronunciation of places). I would highly recommend the hotel as it was super easy to get to and given it just of the busy part of Nyhavn was quite quiet at times. Thank you all for my stay, I will definitely be back.
