They staff were so helpful and went above and beyond.

I didn't stay her myself but my Mum did. It was her birthday while she was there so I contacted the hotel to see if I could arrange a little good or drink surprise for her. I cannot say enough good things about the response from the Hotel. They responded really quickly with a lot of lovely options and made it really easy to arrange. They added extras to what I chose at no cost, the people I dealt with were just wonderful, service like nothing I had had before, and I have stayed at several 5 star hotels, but this hotel went above and beyond and made my Mums day. I cannot thank them enough or recommend them more highly. Thank you.

Excellent base to explore Copenhagen

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 2 weeks ago

Hotel is ideal for exploring Copenhagen and surrounding areas as it's close to the city centre and buses, Metro and trains. Hotel is nice, although a little clinical. It feels a little more like a biusiness hotel than a tourist spot, although it does seem to cater extensively for cruise passengers who I guess just spend a night or two before or after their cruise. Gives it a slightly add vibe. Room was very clean and well maintained - although no plug socket near the mirror for the hair dryer and no modern USB charging points - so bring adapters if you're travelling from the UK or US etc. Staff all very pleasant and helpful. Overall I'd suggest more of a 4* hotel done well than a 5*.l

most excellent dining and great location

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 2 weeks ago

My dining experience, 2 dinners, 1 lunch and 1 breakfaster were excellent. For example the prepaid breakfast had a broad array of items including a custom omelet bar. The cheese choices were delicious. Had to pay extra for my Coke Zero, but coffee and tea were included. They had a great burger, caesar salad with warm moist chicken, and a delicious appropriately cooked med-rare steak frite. Had fabulous profiteroles twice. Shout out to the bar tender (ate there twice) John who was attentive and backed up the waitress. Also to the restaurant manager who recommend a great red wine to me: Chateauneuf du Pape that fit for me between a cab and a malbec. One more name mention: Elizabeth on the front desk who solved my room temp problem (too warm, saving energy?) after two others from the previous day did not. This hotel controls individual room temps from the front desk computer (I don't approve, but in the end got fixed.) Overall a great location, great advice from Janni on the concierge desk, and really excellent food. (Exception: they tout the rooftop bar, which has great panoramic views, but overpriced drinks and starters-forget the langoustine.)

A perfect base for exploring the city!

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 2 weeks ago

Came here for a two-day trip with friends and honestly couldn’t have asked for a better location. The hotel sits right in Christianshavn, one of Copenhagen’s most charming neighborhoods, with the harbor just across the street and some of the city’s top spots: Nyhavn, the Royal Library, the Opera House, all within easy walking distance. Water buses and the metro are literally a couple of minutes away, so getting around couldn’t be easier. The rooms were spotless, seriously clean, well-equipped, and comfortable. Everything you need is there: good bedding, a proper TV, coffee maker, small fridge. No complaints whatsoever on that front. Breakfast was a real highlight. A generous buffet with plenty of variety and good quality options, the kind that actually sets you up for a full day of sightseeing rather than leaving you hungry an hour later. The overall vibe of the hotel is elegant but not stuffy, modern Scandinavian design, friendly staff, and that nice balance between a big hotel and one that still feels welcoming. For a short city break with friends, it ticked every box. Would definitely stay again on my next visit to Copenhagen.
