Radisson SAS Royal Hotel, Copenhagen

I stayed at this fabulous hotel with my Mum for a week and we had the best time. From the moment we arrived, everyone made us feel so welcome and relaxed. Simon on concierge was incredibly friendly and helpful throughout our stay, and Nani made our check-in welcoming and was very attentive. The rooms were spotless, comfortable, and had such beautiful views, which made the stay feel even more special. The hotel was located in a really handy spot next to the train station for easy travel to/from the airport, and right next to Tivoli gardens! A wonderful experience from start to finish - we would highly recommend it.

Our stay was excellent. The location right by Tivoli, 3 supermarkets, across from train station, tour buses out front and many restaurants/pubs/ cafes within walking distance made the Radisson Royal such a great option. The hotel was clean and kept up well. There was always an elevator waiting in the lobby. The front desk staff, concierge and housekeeping/runners are really well trained and showed excellent customer service. Our rooms were fine. I do wish the closets were a bit larger and that there were privacy curtains in the bathroom. The breakfast buffet offered a great selection and options each morning. The lobby is welcoming and offered a great place to sit and people watch or wait for a taxi. I would highly recommend this hotel and would love to come back again.

I chose this hotel for the great location near Tivoli Gardens. We got a great rate that included a wonderful breakfast. The common areas were beautiful and well-maintained. Our room was a nice size and overlooked Tivoli Gardens. On the second day, we had to leave very early before breakfast was available, so the staff arranged for us to have a bag breakfast to take with us.

I stayed at Radisson Collection Royal Hotel Copenhagen—and honestly, it’s one of the most amazing hotels I’ve ever been to in my life. The moment I entered, I was blown away. The place is HUGE—like genuinely impressive. It really took my breath away. The concierge welcomed us warmly, very friendly, talkative, and helpful. They also assisted us with the luggage, which was great. The lobby is massive, with many seating and working areas, beautiful décor, and great restaurant. Overall, the atmosphere is stunning. At one point, I didn’t know how to get to the gym, and a staff member actually walked me there, which I really appreciated. The gym itself is incredible—very large and fully equipped, more like a proper fitness center than a hotel gym. It even has a shop with clothes, food, protein products, fresh towels, bathrooms, and a sauna. The whole space has a great vibe—I genuinely loved it. We booked a family suite, and wow… just wow. The room was spacious and beautifully designed, with a walk-in closet, a separate dressing area with a mirror, and a bathroom with both a bathtub and a rain shower. The bed was big and very comfortable, and the seating area was amazing. Honestly, I could have stayed in the hotel the entire time—that’s how much I enjoyed it. The hotel is very clean. Our room's floor was not well vacuumed and the issue was not resolved the same day. It's well located, next to the city center and many restaurants. There's also a supermarket just at the corner. However, there was one major issue. We constantly lacked basic amenities in the room—soap, tea, cups, and other essentials. We had to keep calling housekeeping multiple times a day (sometimes 2–3 times), which became frustrating. And even then, they would often bring incomplete items. At this level, you shouldn’t have to keep asking for basic things—it should already be provided. The price is definitely high, but overall, the experience was worth it. Despite the inconvenience with amenities, I would still come back.

What an enjoyable holiday, myself and my daughter, had in Copenhagen, but it was made particularly amazing by staying at the Radisson Collection Royal Hotel. The staff here made our week so memorable. Nothing was too much trouble, and as guests we were made to feel very special. As soon as we stepped into the hotel, the welcome from Nani at reception and Simon the Concierge was just so friendly and wonderful. Nani was so pleasant and very efficient. Simon was an absolute joy to see in the hotel. He gave us so many helpful hints, valuable tips and great nuggets of information about the city. Totally put the cherry on the cake for our holiday. The bar and restaurant staff were also very good; very attentive and it was always a pleasure to relax in the bar area. We are so grateful to all the staff. Thank you so much.
